This is absolutely a five star restaurant. Last time I was there we sat next to two couples whose husbands did nothing but gripe about everything, mostly that it was too fancy. It's not too fancy unless you want to wear your dirty baseball hat and a stained t-shirt (what one of them was wearing, but they were the only ones that looked slovenly. It's nice casual and a comfortable environment. We found out they had a gift certificate. They didn't deserve it. Everything we've ever ordered has been special. I love the table side Steak Diane. And the table side Gelato is spectacular and should be a splurge for a special dinner. Serves four usually. I also love the. non-alcoholic drinks. They look and taste festive and delicious. A group of us go regularly, but I go there by myself on occasion and enjoy it tremendously.

Excellent experience. Dennis and Alex provided great service throughout our dinner. We had the pre-fixe three course chef's special: carrot bisque, 8oz beef filet, Chilean sea bass, and raspberry sorbet. Sooooo worth it! It's a must if you're visiting on a weekday.

First time diner with my wife. Midwesterners born and raised on steak and potatoes. Restaurant itself very nice, and lighted menus were awesome. Sommelier and waitress very nice and welcoming. We ordered the meatball special appetizer, 24 oz ribeye, and brussel sprouts. All very good. We did not do dessert. Overall very good experience but can't give 5 stars. Here's why: 1) We ordered a $200 bottle of wine. Not once after the initial pour by the sommelier did anyone even remotely bat an eye at our empty wine glasses. 2) Medium steak was not medium. Said something to waitress. She said it was medium. Pretty sure solid red all the way through is not medium. Listen, first world problems, I get it. But at these prices, sorry, the bar is raised and Monarch Chophouse fell just a little short. Maybe your steak will be cooked correctly and your wine glasses filled; if so, by all means leave a 5-star review and know we'll suffer a bit of FOMO.

We went to the Chop house Wednesday the 17th of June at 7pm. What we saw was absolutely insane. We were giving a amusé bouch, a free little appetizer vite, ok cool. Next we were giving a salad and soup, we thought it was apart of our dinner. My wife takes a bite of the salad, I didnt know what the soup was, I stick my finger into the soup to see what flavor it is. It was pretty good. Some sort of bisque. Thats not the problem, the problem is this... After my wife ate a couple bites the salad, I stuck my finger in the soup, we asked the waiter if this was a part of the meal? He was perplexed grabbed the salad and soup, apologized and returned to the kitchen. Not the problem.... The problem is when he took the soup and salad back, it was approximatly 30 seconds before he came back into the dinning room with the same salad and same soup in the same hands that he took them off our table, and served them to the table two to the left of us. An older couple. My wife and i had no idea what to do?? We couldnt believe what we just saw. Didnt kbow what to do. The table is now eating the same dishes that were on our table. I thought once that happened, the kitchen just refired a new soup and salad..... You can see management has not repainded the last last message about the food poisining review. I doubt they will respond. But management!!! Please review your pressumable video tapes of that night. Watch out waiter take food off our table and serve it to another guest. I will leave my email and phone number so you can reach out. The réservation is under Burgio. That doesnt even descirbe how bad the food is. We ordered a 105 dollar bone in ribeye to Split between my wife and I. We ordered a fois gras add on. It looks like the goose took a number two on my plate. Why pre-cut a 105 dollar steak? Why ruin a nice peice of meat? You have digital menus.....why would you put a price of 105 for our steak then charge us 111?? That doesnt seem legal. Dont say market value because that wasn't listed on the menu of market price ?? Will post a pucture of the bill saying 111 for our steak. Will post a picture of the fois gras steak you served us next to a picture of a restaurant we ate at 1 month ago and had fois gras. The atrocity is the waiter serving food we ate, to another patron. Insane. Please review the video tapes. This is unacceptible. Oh the 6 dollar blue cheese mousse, was cream and blue cheese, in a refridgerator served cold.....horrible and tasted like all the other food in the refridgerator.
