  We are doordashers, we got an order and went to starte shopping it was 45 items, so obviously it was going to take us awhile, we kept acknowledging that they were closing soon but our DoorDash customer had to approve some substitutions, then they came and told us they were closed and we told them we just needed one more item, but we ended up being escorted to check out by the employees it wasnt the security guy he was actually nice, and then we went to check out and there was a short white lady telling us in a very rude manner that they been saying they were union and they were closing even tho another employee let them know it was a DoorDash order, it wasn’t our personal shopping. She didnt care and kept mumbling under her breath, another lady also kept mumbling “we told you guys we were closing” If thats the case you guys shouldnt allow orders to go thru so late. Will be reporting to Doordash as well, since we couldnt get our customer their last item, because its the way were making a living. Hopefully we never get a order from this location again.

  Extremely long wait times for the pickup department they are unprofessional they do not have their stuff together nobody is working back there I've been standing here for 30 minutes cannot get help do not recommend this store save your time

  Horrible customer service!! This is why AI is taking over. If you are so miserable, get a new job. Connie was absolutely rude from the start!!! She had a horrible attitude and was being condescending about everything. Please take the time to teach your employees proper customer service.

  Some crotchety older lady manager (wish I got her name) grabbed the skinny black security guy and kicked me and my friend out about 30 to 45 minutes because I checked the consistency of 1 item. I hope upper management reprimands her, cause who knows how many people have been kicked out by her for checking the product visually to ensure its best quality. For upper management, I was in the mest department by the butcher counter between 345 and 4pm today, may 22, 2026. I will also let the other 60 plus people I know whp live within a half mile radius to stop going to this Safeway. This manager said Im no longer welcome either, like I said, all over me visually checking the quality of 1 item. To br honest, I dont feel safe going back to any Safeway if I am going to be treated like a criminal for something so trivial.
