  This Safeway has been my go to store for years.. Its a bit sad there seem to be so few employees and that all but one set of doors ever seem to be open at this location but I'm writing this review because I just don't understand the new security guard. He is not friendly when I shop here and likes to hover when I'm scanning items as if I'm planning on stealing. Sigh. I wish he would at least acknowledge people when they say hi to him. He certainly didn't acknowledge me and he already hassled my best friend's dad the other day too after his dad went to the front of the store to grab an item and was stopped and genuinely interrogated by the security guard as if he was about to run off with his whole cart, even after explaining what he was doing 🫩 give me a break! Even in the worst stores I've been to, I don't have a security guard breathing down my neck when I'm checking out like I do at this Safeway for some reason. Its so unsettling. Again though, I just wish he was at least friendlier like the majority of workers here.

  Very clean and wide aisles. Great selection of produce and breads. Impressed with deli meats and cheeses.

  This location has been going downhill for the last year or two. I’ve been shopping here for about 8 years but will be looking for a different grocery store. Customer service is a joke. There is never anyone at the meat counter, when I ask an employee if they can help or call someone the only response I’ve gotten recently is “someone will be there soon” I’ve had to just forget about buying from the counter on multiple occasions because no one showed up to help. I have to bag my groceries (which is not my job) even when I’m not in self check out. And it doesn’t matter if I have a lot of food either. The cashier will just let the food pile up at the end and if I’m not quick enough bagging they will start scanning the food for the person behind me and let that start getting mixed in with my food. And I have to bag my groceries even though I’m also trying to keep an eye on my 3 kids. It’s ridiculous. I would understand if this only happened once or twice but it’s happening almost every time I’m there. The employees here make me feel like I’m inconveniencing them whether I’m asking for basic assistance, at checkout expecting service, or having the audacity to shop with my kids. I will be finding a new place to get groceries

  I like Safeway but wow it's expensive and if you order groceries put them in bags when your groceries are so expensive. Even Walmart does this and it is cheap.
