  Normally this is a five star place for us, but our visit last Friday was marred by the children at the host stand that don't bother to make sure that the party they are seating is the actual party that is next. Some jerk jumped on our table claiming his name was my husband's but they didn't bother to check the LAST name. The condescending reply of "don't worry, we have lots of tables available" from the child in charge of the host stand fell flat as they were quoting wait times of 45 minutes. People were leaving due to the high wait quote which was a lame guess at best. Granted, we were taken to a table after complaining about being jumped on our turn, but it was basically a table in the bus station on the patio. Had the server not been great and the food awesome as usual, this would have been a ONE STAR review. Train your host staff to be better or put an adult in charge of it.

  Went there on May 6th with 4 friends. At the end we needed the bill split 4 ways which wasn't a problem. The problem was when we closed the handheld machine, it showed a balance of $18 still needed. We brought this up to the server, she said the first one didn't go through and we needed to run it again. Two of us noticed that both charges were on our CC statement. The manager on duty said she would credit the entire meal, which all we wanted was the second one removed. Iy wasnt so I went back a week later and discussed with a different manager. She said she would credit the entire meal for all of us. Still waiting... The waitress we had was "new" and we only had one refill of drinks in 1.5 hours we were there and we were steps from the wait station.. Overpriced and poor service with lack of followup on the charges.

  Every time my husband and I go to Lazy Dog, we have a wonderful experience, but this evening was exceptional. My uncle is visiting, and we decided to bring him to Lazy Dog as it's always good. We got sat immediately, even without a reservation, and both hostesses were friendly and kind. I also want to specifically call out how incredible our server DJ was. He was so kind, attentive, and genuine, even with the chaos of the Mother's Day crowd. Mother's Day is a hard day for me, but he made it truly special. He frequently checked on us, enthusiastically answered all of our questions, and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our food and drinks were great, and after talking to him about the Beer Club, we decided to sign up. Since we're big foodies, we've had our fair share of good and bad servers. We agreed that DJ was far and above the best server we've ever had. Lazy Dog - I hope you know and appreciate how special he is - and if you haven't yet, that you recognize the hard work he puts in to show up for your customers. DJ - from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your service today. You made it a very special and memorable dinner. You are incredible, and I hope that we are fortunate enough to continue sitting in your section.

  I had a disappointing Mother’s Day experience at the Southlands location. After ordering at 5:17 PM, our pickup time was pushed back repeatedly while we sat in the parking lot and watched later arrivals get their food first. Despite being told the order was ready at 6:05 PM, I had to go inside to find a manager to actually get my food. While the manager was professional and offered to comp the $66.02 bill, the quality didn't hold up—my burger was marked "Medium" with a wooden stick despite being ordered "Well Done." I’m still waiting for the promised refund to reflect in my account. Between the 45-minute delay and the kitchen errors, it was a very frustrating evening…. Update: I have since been refunded the money. While the food is great when you dine in, the takeout system seems to struggle during high-volume holidays like Mother's Day. If you're looking for takeout, I’d suggest ordering on a less busy night to ensure the quality matches what they usually provide in-house. Final Update: I appreciate the quick and professional follow-up from both the local management and the corporate team. They followed through on the refund and took the time to address the specific issues with the order. I want to specifically thank the manager, Whitney, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about fixing the mistake. Having her reach out so quickly and professionally has changed my perspective drastically. Their effort to make things right is honorable and appreciated more than I can say. It’s clear they take feedback seriously and are committed to excellence.

  My first visit to this restaurant and it was not the best. We waited bout 15 minutes land received a text that our table (not a booth), was ready. Even while sitting is, my daughter-in-law asked them if it was a table and she was assured it was, then they say it's at a booth. Out other option was to get back in line to wait for a table, even though there was a table enjoy close by the entire time time we were there. I ordered the Bibimbop and my egg was overcooked. Our waitress was more concerned about taking care of a bigger table than she was taking care of us.
