About a week ago, I placed an online order and went to pick it up. When I arrived I saw a bag sitting on the pickup counter but when I checked the receipt it didn’t look like it was my order. I sat down and waited for more than 5 minutes. There were 3 employees working and I’m pretty sure the girl was a shift lead because I saw her giving the two guys their tips for the day. Not once did anyone ask if I needed help. Finally one of the guys who was clocking out asked me if I needed something. I gave him my name he checked the screen and told me he didn’t see my order. Eventually we found out that the bag sitting on the counter actually was my order. He apologized and explained that the receipt had been placed incorrectly. I let it go and didn’t complain even though I was a little upset. The whole reason I placed an order ahead of time was to avoid waiting and I ended up waiting anyway. Today I placed another order because this is the closest Einstein to me. I thought maybe if I gave them a little extra time my order would be ready by the time I arrived. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Once again my order wasn’t ready. The same girl was working. I don’t know her name but I recognized her and believe she may have been the shift lead. She was sweeping the floor when she asked if I needed help. I told her I had placed an online order. She checked the screen and once again couldn’t find it. She then went through the orders, found my receipt, and told me that my order was there but someone had taken it. I waited while they remade my order and this is the part that really upset me. She grabbed a bagel and started cutting it while wearing the same gloves she had been using to sweep the floor and touch the register. I politely asked if she could please change her gloves because those were the gloves she had been using while sweeping. She took them off and put on a new pair. She started making the sandwich cutting the bagel and preparing the eggs. Then she went back to the register to help another customer. I noticed she still had the gloves on and when she saw me looking at her she took the gloves off. That honestly made me wonder how often this happens when customers aren't watching. How often are gloves being used to touch the register, sweep, handle other things, and then go right back to preparing food? I'm not writing this review simply because my order wasn't ready twice. Mistakes happen and I understand that. What really bothered me was the food-handling issue. That bagel was for my child who had been craving a sandwich and has been struggling with recurring stomach issues and having a hard time eating. If I hadn't noticed what happened I would have unknowingly given her food that had been handled with gloves that were just used to sweep the floor and touch other surfaces. I really hope management takes this seriously and reminds employees about proper glove use and food safety. I don't want anyone to get in trouble but customers should be able to trust that the food they're being served is being prepared safely and hygienically. Thank you

Great experience at this Einstein Bros. Bagels! The employees were very friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The only minor issue was that they only had about 2 ounces of the Vanilla Hazelnut coffee left, so I had to wait about 3–5 minutes for a fresh batch. It wasn’t a problem at all since I wasn’t in a rush, and I appreciated that they made more rather than serving old coffee. The location is also very convenient if you’re visiting or working near the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I would definitely come back again!

We really love the bagels and Einstein‘s! They are worth the trip and worth becoming a rewards member! In fact, one of the tricks we’ve learned, is to get the bakers dozen for nine dollars if your rewards member and then do the survey for two free bagels afterwards meaning you can get 15 bagels for nine dollars if you play your cards right
