- MMM-L MacAug 11, 20262.0Recently had a very mediocre experience. My dover sole, in a lemon cream sauce, was served to me barely warm. Had to send it back because it was so not warm, it was almost congealed. Once it came back warm, it was very good. Wait staff needs to be trained on how to serve. Instead of walking around and serving my plate next to me, they just reached over the table in front of my friend to serve me. Too expensive of a restaurant for such poor service. Also need to note the dachsund dog that was inside the restaurant. I love dogs but not inside the dining room at dinner on a Friday night. There was a patio but they allowed the dog in the dining room where the owner was feeding him under the table. CATCH is a chain restaurant that tries to be classified as high end. I saw nothing high end about this very mediocre chain restaurant.

The food was excellent! My partner wasn’t thrilled with his main but the manager must have seen his face because he came right over and made it right. We will definitely go back when we are in town again!

Unfortunately, I experienced a medical emergency involving my heart muscle. Alex, the manager, could not have been more compassionate or attentive while we waited for the ambulance. His kindness during such a frightening moment meant more than I can express. We returned again this year and had the experience of a lifetime. From the outstanding food and impeccable service to the unforgettable atmosphere, every detail was perfect. Catch is simply 100% perfection.

The manager, Jeffery, was so rude, dismissive, and made us feel unwelcome when we politely asked for water for our dog while dining outside. He said no, dogs are not allowed to DRINK WATER here… What made it even more frustrating was seeing other guests treated differently, leaving us feeling singled out. The only reason this experience was salvageable was our server, Matthew. He was kind, professional, attentive, and provided excellent service despite the manager’s behavior. Thank you, Matthew, for making an otherwise unpleasant experience much better.
