I came in today and was standing behind this poor girl and she waiting for the situation to be resolved and witnessed the entire interaction. From what I observed, she was simply trying to have her order remade and charged correctly because she did not order a Double Double with bacon. The man in the red shirt was yelling at her and telling her to leave rather than attempting to help resolve the issue. He was completely losing his mind. He said he was a manager and refused to give his name. The younger employee was also telling her that she was wrong. Instead of de-escalating the situation or trying to find a solution, the man in the red shirt escalated it by threatening to call the police and trespass her from the business. From my perspective, he was not being fair and his behavior was very unprofessional. I felt the situation could have been handled calmly and respectfully without it escalating to that point. It also was not busy at all. So remaking the sandwich shouldn't have been an issue.

I visited the Jimmy John’s at 5220 Wadsworth Bypass in Arvada on July 18 at approximately 5:13 PM. I ordered a JJBLT combo with double bacon and fully acknowledge that I requested the double bacon. My complaint is not about paying for it—it’s about how I was treated. The cashier accepted my payment before telling me the total. He gave me a quarter back so I asked for my total and he said 19.75. Before my sandwich was made, I asked for my receipt so I could verify everything was correct, but I was told I wouldn’t receive it until after the sandwich was made. Once I finally received it, I noticed I had been charged for extra bacon twice. I thought it would have been one charge not two. I politely asked if the transaction could simply be refunded, the sandwich taken back, and rung up correctly and made with what I meant 1x more extra bacon not 2x more. As I didn’t know double bacon was going to charge me twice. I was not asking for free food and even offered to return the sandwich. Instead of trying to resolve the misunderstanding, the employee in the red shirt repeatedly accused me of trying to get free food, kept telling me to “take accountability,” and even after I repeatedly accepted responsibility for ordering double bacon, he told me to “take accountability and leave with it.” I also felt like I was being teamed up on by two of the three employees working at the time instead of someone trying to help resolve the issue. When I asked the employee for his name, he refused to provide it. He then demanded my name, and I gave it to him. After I gave him my name, he told me he would “be on the lookout” for my review so he could “tell the correct story.” Shortly afterward, he started screaming at me, and I immediately screamed back. I take responsibility for raising my voice, but I did not initiate the yelling. The employee then threatened to call the police and told me I was trespassed from the store. I’ve been coming to this location for a long time because it’s close to my work and have never had a problem before. That’s what made this experience so disappointing. What should have been a simple misunderstanding turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. I hope management reviews the security footage from around 5:13 PM on July 18. I’m not looking for free food or revenge—I simply believe customers deserve to be treated with respect and that misunderstandings should be handled professionally. Note: I still got my food and ate it. I never had a remade done and never had a refund and redo order. I left with my initial first order because he refused to help me. I do not want a refund. I simply want this matter investigated, regardless of what either the employee or I say. I want to leave it to higher management to review the incident because, from my perspective, we were both wrong. However, I believe it was extremely poor customer service from someone who identified himself as management. I would expect a manager to know how to de-escalate situations, have strong customer resolution skills, and clearly explain store policies in the moment rather than taunting, instigating, and yelling.

Ordered our food and an hour + later I called. The girl told me they had no drivers and since the order was made, I could not cancel. The website offers delivery even when they can't deliver. The order showed up 3 HOURS LATER! Warm drinks, soggy sandwiches inside, hard as rocks outside. Not one bit of effort. My husband had the exact same experience 3 weeks ago. But the store let him cancel since there were no drivers. But it was 2 hours of waiting . The motto is "freaky fast" ,so why not have dedicated drivers at all times? It's literally the cornerstone of the company. I also had used my birthday coupon. What a waste.

I didn't realize I was here at 9:59 when the store opens at 10:00. The guy here today was very polite despite me being here right as they opened, so I appreciate the hospitality!
