Ok, so I was this close to leaving them a horrible review and storming out of there totally pissed. Let me explain... Wife and I stopped in and ordered a quarter pounder meal for me, a filet o fish for her, and I added 3 apple pies to the order. When we were eating, I was looking at the receipt when I noticed that 2 apple pies costs $1.89 and just one costs $1.39! I was surprised and at the same time a little upset because if I had been the cashier, I would have said, "by the way, you'll pay $1.39 for that 3rd apple pie, but for just 50 cents more, you can get a 4th." I would have said, "wow, go ahead, add it on there!" So I went to a manager to complain. I was never rude nor angry because I was sure she was gonna help me out. But she simply came back with, "oh, so sorry for your inconvenience, but since it's our regular prices, not a promo, cashier didn't need to inform you. And since this is already a closed transaction, there's nothing I can do for you now." That's when I started to get angry. I told her, "Look. I'm not asking for a hand out here, just asking you to fix this. I'll gladly pay the extra 50 cents to get that 4th apple pie. I'm sure you can help me with that." And she wouldn't change her tune and that's when I was about to explode. Then suddenly, another manager got close and asked what's going on. The other girl explained my concern and that there was nothing she could do for me, and the second manager, named Maria, said, "the hell you can't! Just give him the pie!" The first girl was still like, "but, but, but" and Maria just went to the kitchen and asked the cooks for an apple pie, the gave it to her and she immediately came to me and said, "here you go sir and so sorry for the inconvenience." I tell you, she saved the night. Maria is a true professional who understands how to treat a customer and I hope she gets recognized for it.
