  I am writing this formal review to strongly advise community members against visiting the Pizza Hut location in Winslow, Arizona. I have visited every single restaurant in this town, and this Pizza Hut is by far in the worst condition I have ever seen. I do not say this lightly. I am a former chef who has worked in food service and commercial kitchens since 1993. I spent decades dedicated to maintaining high culinary standards. From my professional experience, the cleanliness of a restaurant reflects directly on the kitchen staff and the head cook. Sadly, what I observed at this location shows a complete failure in basic restaurant standards. Management and Leadership Issues The core issue at this location is a total lack of leadership. The current supervisor does not know how to run a crew. Employees are left entirely to themselves, huddled in the back of the kitchen while the front of the restaurant is completely abandoned. It brings to mind the famous scripture from the Holy Bible: "If the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." — Matthew 15:14 As a former chef, I actually feel sorry for the cook working there. In a proper kitchen, the chef should be the one truly running the crew and enforcing standards. Without that proper leadership, the entire staff is failing. Unacceptable Dining Conditions The cleanliness of the dining area is shocking. If anyone doubts this review, they only need to poke their head in the door to see the poor conditions for themselves: Dirty Tables and Chairs: Tables are never wiped down. They are constantly covered in crumbs, salt, and dirt. The chairs are so sticky that you cannot even sit on them comfortably. Leftover Trash: Old drinking glasses and cups from past customers are left abandoned on the tables instead of being cleared away. Filthy Floors: Trash and dropped food are scattered all over the dining room floor. Food Quality and Safety Concerns The lack of care extends directly to the buffet and the kitchen, raising serious concerns about how the food is handled: Incorrect Temperatures: Food is not kept at the right temperatures, leaving it tasting stale, old, and improperly prepared. Spoiled Produce: The salad bar items, especially the lettuce, are not refrigerated correctly. As a result, the lettuce is visibly old and wilted. Burnt Buffet Items: Even the pizzas put out for the buffet are frequently served heavily burnt. Final Recommendation This restaurant is in desperate need of a complete management overhaul. Until a leader is brought in who knows how to train a crew, clean a dining room, and serve fresh food, do not go to this location. Please take your business elsewhere.

  Gregory was so kind and we really enjoyed his service. Plus the pizza was very well cooked and one of the best pizza huts we have had in years:)

  long day of traveling and arrived pretty late, just as they were starting to put the food away. Greg, the young man working at the front, was incredibly polite and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Even though they were closing up, he still made sure I could enjoy some fresh pizza, salad, and dressing without making me feel rushed. His kindness and willingness to help really stood out. It’s not often you receive service like that these days. Thank you, Greg, for making my visit such a great experience!
