  Three employees standing around joking and talking at the self checkout and ZERO registers open. Only self checkout. If my granddaughter had not been excited about shopping I would have just left the full cart and walked out. I am very tired of doing the work of employees without any compensation while they just stand around and goof off.

  Came to pick up a few things & was surprised with a ton of free goodies for customer appreciation day. Kacey was amazing and so kind and generous. Thank you so Jason & Kacey!!!! Y’all are amazing ♥️

  I like this store because it’s close to my home and it’s usually clean and well organized. However, the older white woman with a slim build who often works in the mornings assisting at the self-checkout is consistently rude. She frequently makes unpleasant facial expressions that seem to show annoyance, and her attitude toward customers is unprofessional. I believe she should improve her customer service skills or consider a position that she enjoys more.

  Another visit to this Safeway and more crappy results…see the original review below. Today is senior discount day and the store was predictably busy. At least there were three registers open today although they continue on their aggressive push to force you to do self checkout. So, with the store very busy and three registers open, there were zero baggers. I truly believe they are pushing the low grade service to force you to choose self checkout. Our cashier, Sheila M, was working her tail off, as the other two lines were doing. I asked her to page management and, when Garett arrived I asked him to please explain to me why there were no baggers and why we’re Sheila and ourselves are bagging our two carts full of groceries. He said he would address it and walked off, two baggers showed up shortly. With my managment background I’m going to point out that there was no apology for the bad service attached to his response. Makes me wonder what type of management training they have. Original review: Worst visit to a Safeway ever. Only one cashier open as they try to force you to self checkout and she, Hailey, seemed to be semi competent at best. Another woman, Cassie, who I do t know if she’s jr mgt or not, stood there by the office door and dithered for over five minutes while Hailey struggled before she finally decided to open a second register herself. There was also another gentleman standing in the area watching it fail before he wandered off. With where we live we have the choice of this location which is much nicer or the one in Sierra Vista which definitely looks tired but they always have registers open and , shock, baggers!
