  McDonald's usually has low ratings but how do they have 2.6 that's crazy. But now I know since I went inside. This has to be the slowest McDonald's in the country and everyone looks like they hate being there

  I went through the drive-thru tonight, 9/29, around 9 PM, and honestly, this was one of the worst McDonald’s experiences I’ve had. The fries were cold, the buns on both my burger and my daughter’s burger were hard as a rock, and both of our drinks were only half full. For the prices McDonald’s charges now, there is absolutely no excuse for serving food that tastes like it has been sitting around. I’m paying for a meal and a service—not cold fries, stale/hard buns, and half-filled drinks. If the quality of food being served is going to be this poor, then the prices should reflect that quality. I understand this is fast food, but fast food should still be fresh, hot, and properly prepared. What makes this even more frustrating is that I live literally two minutes from this location, so it’s not like the food had a long drive to cool down. I didn’t even realize how bad everything was until I got home and opened the food. By that point, I had two meals with cold fries, rock-hard buns, and drinks that were only half full. For what I paid, I expected food that was at least fresh and properly prepared—not a meal that tasted like it had been sitting around before I even got there.

  Had the $8 Big Mac Meal Deal and it was delicious! The Big Mac was fresh and tasty, and the fries were cooked to perfection—hot, crispy, and just right. The drive-thru service was freaking fantastic! The staff were polite, friendly, and provided great service. Great food, great value, and great service. I’ll definitely be back!

  ***** EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING ***** I totally get that some people try and unfortunately fail. I totally get that some people fail to even try and worse of all, I totally get that some people deliberately try to fail. I'm firmly under the impression that the McDonald's location in Vail is staffed entirely by uncaring employees that willfully, deliberately and intentionally go out of their way to purposely fail. The failing food product at the Vail location is consistently mediocre. Sub par food products are routinely served well past thier prime resulting in cold food products being served at fresh. I'm hard pressed to even pretend this systemic failure is all by accident. The once proud leader of fast food has been reduced to a disappointing failure where overpriced and under preforming food and lame service seemingly merge to embrace a war footing against paying guest. Zero pride and zero shame on full display. If I'm charged full price why does this location insist on pawning off inferior products? If there's zero issue with my payment why is there always a issue with the food product? Probably best to skip this train wreck.

  Absolutely terrible customer service. The woman working the drive-thru was incredibly rude and had a nasty attitude from the moment I ordered. There was no reason to speak to a customer the way she did. I understand people have bad days, but that doesn’t give you an excuse to treat customers disrespectfully. The entire interaction was unpleasant and honestly made me not want to come back. Management seriously needs to address the way customers are being treated because this kind of attitude is unacceptable.
