Dear Mgmt. FYI. This Facebook post is about your restaurant.
“Poor Customer Service Epidemic: What Will It Take to Unlock a Brighter Standard of Customer Service: Can Common Courtesy and a Welcoming Attitude Become the New Norm?
I was meeting some friends for some beverages and dinner at a fairly well known restaurant in midtown. Entered the restaurant, which was completely empty , I started to look around to see if my friends had arrived early and immediately was confronted by a lady who very gruffly says “ Do you have a reservation? “. I explained that I was just looking for my friends and she immediately says “ well, do they have a reservation? You need to wait here. What are their names ? After giving her a name , she says we have no reservation under that name.
First, How about trying a pleasant greeting like “ welcome to our restaurant, it’s great to have you here. How can I help you? Instead of being interrogated when I arrive , especially when you have no one in your restaurant, no reserved signs for a group and it’s clear you might need some paying customers 😁
My friends finally arrived and we were escorted to a table. We then had to request menus , the waiter took his time to actually take our drink order and again , no welcoming greeting or some type of pleasant exchange to make us feel like a valued customer.
These are basic 101 customer service expectations. Why is this so difficult? Especially, when food/restaurant pricing is going up significantly there should be extra care given to make you feel special.
In today’s highly competitive environment in the hospitality industry, it is critical that these foundational characteristics become your business culture.
FYI, I will not be returning to that restaurant. That is the cost of a poor customer service trait that seems to have permeated this establishment.

I went there for lunch during a world cup game. Service was great, outside patio was a little warm (I think misters would help) and the food was ok. Not bad, but I've had better pizza. Personally, I like my crust not that crusty and I do prefer a little more cheese. I'll give it another try at some point, sure.
Server and Host were nice. Probably the most bland pizza I’ve been served at a restaurant. The Chicken Marzano was an insult at $29. Please save yourself and go somewhere else.
