  We go to Sonic pretty frequently when we want a late night treat. 99% of the time the service and food is fine. On June 1st, we ordered a couple blasts. I was enjoying my treat when I noticed a short hair-like item on my spoon. Thinking at first it was maybe shredded coconut, I took another bite and noticed 2 more bristle type fibers on the spoon. I showed my partner and threw away the rest. A while later I felt something stuck in my throat and pulled out another bristle-type fiber. My partner emailed customer service right away and they did not respond until today, June 16th. They made no offer to replace the item (not that I want to eat there again) nor did they offer a refund. Taking over two weeks to respond when a customer has a serious issue with the food is just unacceptable. I don’t frequently make reviews and if I do, I genuinely try to leave positive ones, but I’m seriously disappointed in the way Sonic handled this issue. Eat here at your own risk.

  The food and service could be better. Most of the time at lunch, everything is on point. I don't expect to be pampered at a drive thru. So long as everything is correct and I'm asked if I want ketchup or ranch I'm happy. This past time I went, no one was in line. I ordered my combo, and she repeated everything I said slowly. Then asked again. Then asked if I wanted anything else, and I ordered a pretzel. I got my drink, and it was just ice with a splash of coke. I got fries even though I said tots. Pretzel wasn't in the bag or on the reciept. And the burger was just slopped together in the box. Ate a few bits of it and threw the rest out. My main criticism are the drinks. Just put a scoop of ice in and fill the rest with soda. Nobody wants a pound of ice and 4oz of drink. Burgers and other sandwiches are always a gamble, sometimes pretty good, other times like someone intentionally just shook it up in the box and launched it from the three point line into the bag and it hit the floor and then they just tossed it in anyway. Most of the sides are good like Onion Rings, Mozerella Sticks, Tots, Pretzels. Not to review bomb, because when it's good, it keeps me coming back. But there is need for improvement.

  So far I've been sitting in the very small ...slot for 30minutes and no food! I was in the drive thru but the sign said don't wait in line pull in and we will bring it right out! I pushed the button and she said sorry we are busy! So AM I ! This is why I needed fast food!

  What happened to good customer service at sonic. The attitude these girls at the front give while you’re trying to order is ridiculous. Apart from that they got my order wrong. And apart from that she said they don’t accept split payments and then proceeds to make the order even more complicated and still takes the split payment. So which one is it? In the last couple months I have not had a good experience and it’s a real bummer since it’s one of my favorite spots to have a late night munch
