- JCJim CatanzariteSep 29, 20262.0The store is overcrowded. Much of that overcrowding is vendors and staff stocking shelves and getting in the way. Their carts are blocking passage and access to the shelves. Others are the store shoppers for the online order service. It's good to have the shelves stocked and the orders filled quickly, but it is a total burden for customers shopping in the store. I have had multiple occasions where store personnel and vendors have refused a request to move when they are blocking access to an item I want. Last week I encountered a pile of near 15 empty, partially crushed cardboard boxes blocking nearly 1/4 of an aisle and no human in sight for several minutes to ask to move them so I could see the merchandise on the shelves. The staff and vendors seem to believe that they have priority over customers. That directive must come from the store manager. Why else would a stocking employee believe their work priority is stocking rather accomodating a buying customer? Most employees are not that stupid, so management must be the issue. I have spoken a few times to store personnel . They have been dismissive and defensive. I assume that is because management has trained them in that attitude. I would have quit this store if it were not for the wonderful people staffing the pharmacy. They are all kind, very attentive and aware of their customers needs. They clearly are not managed by grocery mangement.
