  We love this store but had an unpleasant experience today at Starbucks. We went in to shop this afternoon and stopped at Starbucks to get two trenta black iced teas. The clerk there told us she did not have enough tea and wouldn't make more because it was three hours till her closing. At $9.45 for two iced teas it would have paid for that tea. We left'empty handed. And we did notice over 14 customers go thru the Starbucks as we shopped. How many more left empty handed?. On average we buy two iced teas six times a week. Maybe we need to switch our shopping elsewhere.

  love our Safeway. My favorite neighborhood grocery store. Friendly staff, well stocked. I just hate that most of the time that they advertise deals and when they don't have them they won't give you a rain check and for those of us the work its impossible to go early morning to get that deal. Other than that I love Safeway

  I order my groceries on line and have them delivered. I love it. But, what I don 't love is that they send me expired items or they send the wrong item or they give me double. They don't seem to pay attention. But, with the expired stuff, I think it is done on purpose. Twice now we haver received expired half and half. I can understand one time but 2 times there's a concern. Makes me think they are being trained to use the expired items. I don't know but they really need to stop sending expired items. I spend a lot of money at that store and don't appreciated getting expired items. The other issue I have is with the pharmacy not getting the count right on my prescriptions. Not giving the proper count which shorts me and then I have to drive 20 miles back there to get the ones they shorted me. This time they told me they gave me 90 and the prescription straight says 30 count but she wanted to argue with me that their computer show 90 were distributed. How that happened I don't know since the bottle says Qty 30. I asked her if they were going to pay for my gas to go back to prove them wrong. She told me no. They make the mistake and I have to pay for it. What's wrong with this picture?

  Worst bakery of any Safeway in Tucson. The pastries at this store are smaller than at the others, at this one you basically just get the bread. The icing, filling, crumble, etc, any filling or topping, is almost non-existent at this location now. Donuts with no filling, danishes with no crumble or icing. 3 months ago it changed and it's actually getting worse. Also no donuts after 11am, other items missing by noon. Items are not kept stocked throughout the day like other stores. I'll be going to other locations from now on where things are still how they've always been and supposed to be. Thats $200/wk ill be spending elsewhere on groceries now.
