  This place has everything in one stop, no need to go elsewhere. Pharmacy, Starbucks and....I was looking for a canned Asian tea that isn't very easy to find and they had it. Saved me from going all around town. A+++

  Today was my 1st time at this Safeway. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a full personal shopping utility cart & I went to self-check out. I was asked if I'd like a cashier & I said yes. I was told what cash register to go to & a cashier would meet me there. The store is very clean and I will be back.

  Store staff is always negative. I shop both for myself and professionally with Instacart and every interaction here is rude, condescending or contemptuous. One Member of staff David is absolutely the worst. I tell people to avoid this store whenever it comes up because of these experiences

  I had a disappointing experience in the floral department at Safeway because of the customer service I received from Anne-Marie. Before purchasing my bouquet, she clearly explained the wrapping fee, which I understood and accepted. However, the interaction that followed left me feeling unwelcome. I asked if my bouquet could be wrapped in the kraft paper that was on display because I felt it would support the flowers better than the thin wrapping paper she offered. Anne-Marie responded that she couldn’t promise she would do a good job wrapping it, which was surprising to hear from someone working in the floral department, especially for a paid wrapping service. Throughout the interaction, she repeatedly sighed or exhaled whenever I asked simple questions or requested to see how the wrapping paper would look with the bouquet. For example, I only asked her to hold the flowers next to the paper so I could visualize it - I wasn’t asking her to unwrap or rearrange anything - and she seemed visibly annoyed by the request. She also suggested that I arrange the bouquet myself outside the store and made unsolicited comments about how quickly one of the flower varieties would die, even though I hadn’t asked for advice. None of these moments by themselves were a major issue, but together they made the entire experience feel unfriendly and unprofessional. I enjoy shopping at Safeway, and I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience in the floral department. A little patience and kindness can make a big difference.

  Whenever I shop here, I can never find anyone to ask for help. Nobody smiles and seems to be unapproachable. The watermelons are at the West entrance, and if you walk by, you have to get through a line or the self-checkout. The watermelons should be in the produce area, so you can ask a produce employee for help if you can find one who is knowledgeable about the products. There's only one line open besides the self-checkout, and getting somebody’s attention for help is impossible most of the time. The pharmacist Jeff is the only one who cares to be helpful to the customers.
