  Food is decent, sides are kind of weak and BBQ sauces are not very good. They mostly taste like vinegar. They use Wonder Bread for their rolls too.

  Rudy’s is always delicious and consistently great! Their turkey is absolutely amazing, and there’s usually never a wait. One thing to know is that Rudy’s is great for sharing, you can order your meats by the pound and choose exactly what you want. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and happy to explain how everything works or make recommendations. If you’re looking for delicious, all-American barbecue, Rudy’s is definitely worth a visit!

  Way over salty GARBAGGE !,, BOTH brisket & turkey, so salty my cat enjoyed it ?, 1/2 lb turkey, weighed 6oz.,, brisket not very tender, side of cole slaw $3.49 two oz!,, that's $28.00 a lb ?,, & a coke that's it $33.25,, never again,,, I suppose curb side with 108° out is worth something,, but not this GARBAGGE !

  I really wanted to like Rudy’s since I’d heard good things, but unfortunately my experience was pretty disappointing. I ordered the 1/2 lb pulled pork with a bun and a side of creamed corn. The biggest issue for me was the flavor of the pulled pork. It had a noticeably acidic, almost sour taste that just wasn’t what I expected from barbecue. The two sauce cups that came with the meal didn’t help because they also leaned heavily toward the sour side. I think offering a sweeter option, like a honey barbecue or brown sugar barbecue sauce, would make a huge difference for people who prefer a more balanced flavor. The bun was another letdown. It was very plain and reminded me of the cheapest hamburger buns you can buy at the grocery store. It didn’t really add anything to the meal. The creamed corn was actually decent. It had a nice sweetness that I enjoyed, although the corn kernels were a little firmer than I would have liked. Overall, I left wishing the food had more balance. For me, barbecue is all about rich, smoky flavors with just the right amount of sweetness, and this meal leaned too far toward the acidic side. I know everyone’s tastes are different, but I personally don’t see myself coming back unless they add a sweeter sauce option.
