Going to the Outback Steakhouse in Tucson was always a special treat. Although a chain I always saw this restaurant and as a special place. So I recently had a birthday and wanted to order take out from the Outback Steakhouse house and treat myself to a special meal. I ordered their victoria filet mignon lobster , sweet potato and a caesar salad. I indicated to have the meat pink in the middle. When the meal was delivered , everything at first glance looked fine. However , when I started to eat, I found the meat to be overcooked so much so that I couldn't even chew it. The lobster was great and this sweet potato was great. The real kicker was the caesar salad that had black lettuce throughout. Now, I know from my own lettuce that for it to have black on it, and to have that much throughout the salad it is very old and spoiled. I don't understand why a restaurant would send food out that looked like this, someone is going to end up getting sick. Very disappointed with this meal. Below are some pictures of the salad. Note, that much of this lettuce was buried under the good looking lettuce. I saw one leaf and went to pick it out, and in doing so found another one and started digging and found the entire bottom of the salad consisted of spoiled lettuce. When you're paying $50. for a single meal, you expect better.

Food is priced much higher than anticipated. The entire time sitting there all you could hear was the staff yelling "corner" or "order". Our server was very nice & pretty responsive. The burger lacked flavor, however the loaded potato soup was quite good. The chili was spicy enough to make the average person's nose run.

We had a wonderful experience with our waitress, Rachel. It was only her 2nd day on the job, but you would have never guessed. She was friendly, efficient and had a great sense of humor. It was my daughter’s birthday and she wrangled up the entire crew to ensure our daughter had the best restaurant Happy Birthday wishes. Thank you for a great evening.

I dont normally write reviews but... this is the first time my husband myself and our son have been to Outback and it will most definitely be the last.... our server was not attentive. We waited quite some time before ordering, got our drinks and appetizer... when she took our food order she got my son and my order and competely forgot to get my husband's order so that was kind of crazy. Drinks were completely empty before our food came out and then when our food came it clearly had been sitting under the heat lamp. The alfredo was so dry and everything was just blah. Server never did come back with the bread she went to get. For 100 bucks for the 3 of us was not worth it and the ritestaurant could use a good cleaning. Better value for your money at Texas Roadhouse.

This is by far the best outback steakhouse around. From the hostesses Kaidence, Lilly, Juliette, Brittany, whi not only hosted by were bussing tables and other tasks, Kuddos ladies, you were noticed. Our server Erica R. Was amazing, multi seated at once, huge entrance of people at once, never lost her smile, continously hit her tables, as well as all the servers helping each other, again you all were noticed. The bartender, so never got you name, but drinks flowing non stop always smiling. The cooks perfectly grilling the meats and plates came out looking great, pride from behind the scenes. All management every time we come are always helping out, filling in, talking to customers. Believe Michael was at this time manager. You all do such a great job, make THIS OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE a stop... see you soon. Guru
