Wanted a good Italian dinner, extremely disappointed in the quality of food. Had dinner there last night only ordered three dishes disappointed 😞 with all of them. Start with the salad, it was supposed to contain candied pecans instead they substituted salted almonds. The customer service was poor because they never gave us the option of choosing another salad because of the substitution. The asparagus were the most dehydrated visually unappealing thing I've seen put on a salad. I was ready to say something then but my wife said give them a chance and don't complain. Unfortunately we were very hungry when we arrived. We ordered two pasta dishes. The shrimp piccata was $30 it only had six shrimp in it (smaller than 21/25) and a small amount of linguine. The artichokes in the dish were the only thing good about it. The second pasta dish was pesto penne with chicken. This was a heartbreak because a real pesto only consists of five ingredients. Fresh basil, garlic, parmesan, pine nuts and olive oil. What they serve for pesto was worse than what comes out the jar and it had its some kind of thick cream added to it to make it a pasty like substance. The menu said pesto, not cream pesto substitute. The worst part about it is a good Italian restaurant finishes cooking the pasta in the sauce so it can absorb it. I can tell the pasta had been pre-cooked and left out before they put in the sauce. The penne was an odd off-white color slathered in the sauce that wasn't sticking to it. Also the chicken was so dry we left most of it on the plate. Almost $80 for a meal that was horrible. I'm going to take her out tonight for another Italian dinner that I hope makes me forget about this one. And I assure you if it's quality and delicious 😋. They will get a great review from me. đŸŽ€âââââ I'm open to suggestions I hear Nate's pretty good... Best, Disappointed in Tucson!

3rd time to this place. The first two times our server was AMAZING. I didn’t catch his name but he left a lasting impression that made me want to go back. Unfortunately this time around we got another server who was terrible. Service was so bad I’m writing my first review. We waited for 10 minutes before she came and dropped the waters which wouldn’t be too much of an issue had she not left immediately after without even asking for our drink order. After getting our drinks we had to wait another 10 minutes to ask for straws and place our order. When she came back with the straws she just kind of threw them down at the end of the table and then left which came off in a way we thought was a little rude. We weren’t asked how anything was going or if we needed anything during our meal. She had two other tables but they were already gone about 30 minutes after we arrived, so it was not busy at all. There was no customer service at all. We felt brushed off. It was frustrating to experience when I can see how well the other server was doing with all his tables. I almost asked to switch servers. One server shouldn’t bring down everyone else which is why I give 4 stars.

This place literally served a crust, dried sauce, nothing else, and called it a "Margarita". Total joke....and we're pretty forgiving. Let it go out of business like everything else on that corner. We spent $50 for dough and dried sauce. They were total jerks, too.
