  My last visit about two months ago was a 5 out of 5. Great (actually amazing) service and great food. However, tonight was different. Food was good but steak not cooked to desired temp. Further, server was merely average. Nothing special about it at all which should not be the case at a place of this caliber and price. But it all fell apart at the end. The bill came, and it was too much by $64! We got the Sunday Porterhouse Steak Board special for two. It was supposed to be $98. We were charged $162. When I pointed it out, I was told I was wrong. I went to the website to confirm I was right and consulted a menu. Eventually, it was made right. But it should not have been wrong to begin with. And when I discovered it, I shouldn't have been doubted. How does that happen? It was their own special with a specially printed menu given with the regular menu. On the way out, I let the hostesses know I wasn't happy. They seemed quite concerned and genuine. They went and got the manager. He couldn't have cared less. He was borderline flippant and said something to the tune of, "Hey, I eventually fixed it for you." He was completely unconcerned that we were blatantly overcharged and then doubted when we pointed it out. I just threw my hands up and walked out at his attitude. He wasn't worth further engaging with. Unprofessional, unconcerned, and undeserving of future business.

  Everything was delicious! We ordered two of the Tuesday steak specials. Each came with two sides, salads, and two desserts, absolutely delicious! Steaks cooked to perfection. We also had the lobster as an appetizer. The wine was amazing (moscato) and chilled the whole time. The table setup was very nice and even had a congrats sign on the table, we had a reservation. We went to celebrate my daughters graduation and it was a great experience. Our server, Cole, was wonderful, attentive, and detail oriented. We even got a special picture and frame. We will definitely go back and ask for Cole to be our server! Thanks, Flemings! We had a great time.

  My husband and I went to Flemings for dinner to celebrate our 25th anniversary and my birthday and it was absolutely excellent! We had a happy anniversary sign on the table with cards to celebrate us. Our waiters were perfect! Very happy, personable young men. Our dinner was perfection! Our pork chops were done just right and they were delicious and the Flemings potato was delicious! It was quite a delightful experience for us! Thank you to the Flemings Staff!

  Was staying at hotel next door. Only ordered 3 desserts to go, Mgr brought them to me and I asked if everything was there and plastic utensils. He assured me it was all in the bag. Walked back to hotel changed then realized part in one of our desserts was missing. I called & they wanted me to walk back & get it, which was not a option. Finally they said they would have it brought to the hotel desk & that was it. So I still had to get dressed to go down & get it instead of them just bringing it to my door down the hall from the desk. Never Ever will I step in ANY Flemmings again. Not after the way I was spoken to on the phone or treated. $62 was a hard lesson to learn!

  Sensational in every way! Went to the Flemings whiskey tasting and every aspect of the evening indicated exceptionalism: 1. This was no typical whiskey tasting where they simply serve the whisky neat or with an ice cube. Flemings bar staff went to the trouble to use each whisky in interesting, delicious cocktails with food pairing in mind. And, they were willing to share cocktail the recipes when asked. 2. All of the food (4 courses) was scrumptious, generous in portion, imaginative and plated beautifully. In fact, the food complimented the cocktails and vice versa. The filet mignon was of the highest quality, cooked perfectly. Kudos to the kitchen. 3. The explanations and storytelling re. the whiskies was done by Amber, who incidentally works for Flemings, not a liquor distributor which is usually the case at every other liquor tasting I’ve been to in Tucson. She was fun and interesting in her explanations. 4. Service was excellent, you can tell the staff are total pros both technically and with personality. Pacing of the meal was just right, never feeling rushed or having to wait. 5. Even the table settings and centerpieces indicated thought and creativity. 6. Based on the laughter and buzzy room it seemed like all guests were having the same fun time as we experienced. Just one final point of comparison to a recent experience at Flying V at Ventana Canyon Resort. Their menu is very beef forward, yet neither the quality nor cooking was remotely similar to Flemmings. Steaks at Flying V were over or grossly undercooked, some not tender or too fatty. Servers were like robots, had not been properly trained and gave obviously wrong information about the food. When one member of our party left their steak nearly untouched, none of the servers or manager seemed to notice or said a word, which in itself is unbelievable. They tried to clear plates as some of us were still obviously eating. If you are trying to decide where to eat or celebrate, IMHO it is a no-brainer to go to Flemmings.
