- VVVoluptuous Vegan5 days ago4.0This Chipotle on University is very much an “event just to eat lunch” kind of situation. The line alone feels like a social experiment, loud, fast, a little chaotic, and definitely not for anyone in a hurry. You’re here because you already know what you’re getting into: classic Chipotle comfort, just amplified by the energy of the location. Fun fact: Chipotle started in 1993 in Denver and was originally funded by a single $85,000 loan from Steve Ells’ dad so yes, this whole national chaos burrito situation began with one very humble storefront. Food is what you expect, but the execution can get a little wild when it’s slammed. My guac situation was basically abstract art. Staff is doing their best, but it’s so busy you’re basically ordering in surround sound. Not my favorite location, but not a bad experience either. Just don’t come here if you’re in a rush unless you enjoy living in the Chipotle line timeline.
