This is a great place for Mexican food! The shaved beef rib is especially amazing and getting a big fat grilled jalapeño with my meal was a nice touch. Make sure to get the guacamole with the chicharron add on.

Stopped in to grab tacos to go and hadn’t tried Sonoran-style tacos before. Ordered the 3 taco plate and picked carne asada, pork, and mushroom. The mushroom taco may be one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Vegetarians aren’t going to get short-changed at all. The carne asada was also spot-on. Flavorful, tender, and well-balanced.
Salsa bar was great.
Ambience reminded me of taquerías in Guadalajara and Mexico City. Will gladly go again when visiting Tucson.

We dined at Casa Asada. We tried it for the first time tonight had a wonderful experience. The Carne Asada plate was fantastic. The meat was super clean and fresh, and we can tell all ingredients were fresh. Eating the Carne Asada with grilled jalapeños is a wonderful Sonora treat! We also had the chicken tacos – delicious. Ben is running a great restaurant, Mike is a fantastic cook, and Miss Emily is a wonderful server. You will love it.

The shredded beef rib quesadilla was my favorite and I loved the salsa bar! The carne asada was a little too fatty/chewy and the prices are a little high for the portion size. There was also unexpected live music which was really nice and not too loud.
