Very disappointing experience today (07/01/26), I had the super roast beef sandwich, it definitely was not super!!! There was more lettuce and tomatoes than there was roast beef why so stingy with the roast beef??? You used to get gobs of beef on those sandwiches, my husband's white cheddar Mac and cheese was a dinky little bowl, he said it was ok, not something to be written home about. So as I've stated very large prices for very little product, so yet another eatery that was once a good eatery for as long as I can remember has gone to pot, it's a shame!!!

Arby's just introduced their improved Angus Cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp cheese. I spent some time in Darby, PA, so not only have I had the genuine article, but anyone who has had a real cheesesteak knows that it's about the Cooper Sharp and keep that cheeze whiz off it. It was enough to get me to go in.
There were no customers at the time of day I went in, so food service was under 5 mins. But the ordering process was odd. The Cheesesteak comes on a sesame roll and features sliced Angus beef, grilled onions, and the cheese, of course. Contrast this with PA, who typically employ ribeye. I imagine it's easier for Arby's supply chain to use Angus since they also serve hamburgers.
The first thing I tried to do was to get them to add green peppers and pickles, but they told me they were out of both. You serve burgers, but have no pickles? Then I asked for a side of Au Jus, was charged for it, paid for it, but did not receive it.
The cheese was definitely on point. But the texture and taste of the Angus is "good enough" for a fast food chain, but definitely not the genuine article. The bread was soggy, whereas the steaks back east remain crunchy on the outside, even if you leave the steak in the wrapper 15 or 20 minutes. The onions were too sweet. They need something acidic to balance that out. I threw 3 packs of black pepper on the thing and it didn't help.
It wasn't terrible. If you've never had a real cheesesteak, don't go in here thinking that's what they taste like. If this is your first time, at least they got the cheese right. But the next time I want a cheesesteak, I'm going to Jersey Mike's and getting a #17.

Well I hate that I have to travel all the way across town for my Arby's because they closed down all of them in the south and southwest side. With traffic it took me 45 minutes. Not going there anymore
Quick service no long wait, nice and clean plenty of room...
