  We enjoyed sitting on the patio. The service was so so. We had to ask for the chips and salsa and when it arrived it was like a single serving size chip bag in a tiny bowl for the three of us. There were no refills on the small watered down drinks. Coffee was weak and cool. The food was also cool aswell as bland. There were plenty of waitress staff for the medium size crowd that wasn't the issue. I paid $75.00 for 3 people (no alcohol). 2 Tacos plate, a combo plate, and 2 enchiladas plate all with rice and beans. C'mon Man??? Crossed off my list...

  I thought this place was subpar because of my quesadilla being soupy and not flavorful. The condiments were too small also they charge 2-5 dollars for a little cup of pico de gallo. I let everyone know in multiple groups how I felt and my opinions. Even though to be a Michelin star chef, their food didn’t reflect that. The water tasted strange and I wondered why. But just be warned .

  We had a party of ten here for U of A Graduation. We had some people with special dietary restrictions - gluten-free, peanut allergy, and “no onions and garlic” folks. Oscar was very helpful with selecting our meals. Oscar’s service was prompt and the food was delicious. The birria was really something special. The house margaritas were excellent as well. Everyone enjoyed their meals, although the cevice was a little spicy for the person who ordered it. We sat on the patio, which had a mister. Photo is of birria enchiladas with red sauce.

  Everything at Amelia's is amazing. The chicken habanero burro with green sauce is fantastic. The green sauce itself is wonderful, if I wasn't eating im a public place I would pick my plate clean. My friends and I went there last night and tried the bean and cheese nachos and they were delicious. I had the variety tacos - fish, shrimp, and beef and loved all of them. The food is beautifully presented, delicious and the service is great. The margaritas are also very good.

  On our way to Saguaro National Park East, we made a quick stop at Amelia’s Mexican Kitchen for takeout, and it turned out to be one of those “well that escalated quickly” food moments. Service was excellent. Lorenzo was friendly, thoughtful, and actually listened, which shouldn’t be rare, but somehow still is. He had our burritos cut in half for easy sharing while driving, and made sure we were set before sending us on our way. We ordered the machaca and the avocado chorizo burritos. Let me say this plainly. These things are massive. You could easily split one and be perfectly happy. We did not know this going in, but now you do. The coffee, though… skip it. They gave me a generous cup, but it tasted like it had had a long night and given up halfway through. No strength, no flavor, just vibes. Now the burritos? Completely different story. Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been around the burrito block more than a few times. The machaca was the standout. Loaded with tender beef, eggs, potatoes, and plenty of cheese, all wrapped in a tortilla so thin and light it felt like it had no business holding everything together, yet somehow did, like a quiet overachiever. The place was buzzing for a Tuesday at 10:45 in the morning, which tells you everything you need to know. Locals show up when something’s worth it. So yes, grab the burritos. Maybe grab your coffee somewhere else. And enjoy the kind of meal that makes you briefly consider turning the car around for another round.
