  Service was outstanding, Christopher was very attentive to our every need, he was very fast to bring any additional request, and always with the best attitude! The food was excellent! It is truly a Mexican restaurant! I could taste Mexico in every bite! Their red salsa was the excellent compliment to my tacos! Their green enchilada sauce was the best, wish I knew their secret ingredient! Over all we were very please with each and every dish! Definitely included to our top restaurants when visiting Tucson again!

  I love the mole ar Amelias! They are vegan friendly! The refried beans are vegan and delicious, with a lot of flavour. The rice is NOT vegan, the staff shared with me it does have chicken stock. Make sure you try their house mole! You can even dip your chips in it. I like to put the mole on my taquitos During our most recent visit, Jorge was our wait staff and they were so knowledgeable about the menu items and excellent at our anticipating needs before we said something

  "Louie and Jonathan, the bartenders at Amelia's on oracle made our Saturday night. They're true mixologists — knowledgeable about every dish and every drink, and the cocktails are handcrafted just like the food. Attentive, warm, and clearly proud of what they serve. We love this place. My wife never orders anything but the mole — it's that good — and I keep coming back for the tamales. I'll admit it: I never liked mole until I tried Amelia's. My mother-in-law makes it, and I always passed. She asked why I suddenly loved it, and I told her, 'I don't like your mole — I like Amelia's mole.' Reservations are smart, or grab the bar early, because it packs out even for brunch. Five stars, and I'd recommend it to anyone — families, out-of-towners, anyone who takes Mexican food seriously. Tucson's lucky to have it."

  This place needs a new hostess. Went for breakfast with my mom this morning. I asked if we could move to the table with four chairs so my mom could have somewhere to put her purse as our table was tiny. She said no, we reserve that for bigger parties. I asked someone else if we could at least get another chair she said I’ll ask. Then our waiter came and asked if we wanted to move to the four chair table. I told him “we were already told we can’t” he said, of “course you can. Go ahead” I do wanna say that he was very nice throughout the whole experience but the girl at the front ruined my experience. First time trying this place btw. It’s been on my list for a while now and well.. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

  All of the food on the menu is exceptionally well executed! I ordered a grilled shrimp taco, a pastor Taco and a beer battered fish taco and they were all absolutely amazing. The pastor was the best I've had around Tucson in over a decade!!! They're really killing it here and you would be doing yourself a disservice by skipping out on them. The staff was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable not only about the history of Amelia's but the owner and his pursuit to open such a wonderful establishment, but also in the way he has maintained generational recipes to present them to the public for our consumption and I couldn't have chosen a better place to have lunch today.
