I don't often leave reviews for Taco Bell's, despite it being my favorite fast food place, but I needed to call out an individual named Jordan who just helped me in the drive thru with my order.
In a time where everyone is miserable, everyone is burnt out, we're all working jobs we hate (if we can get jobs in this economy), and most people are losing basic customer service skills in the fast food industry, Jordan was a breath of fresh air. He was just a dash of silly, without doing too much, he was pleasant and friendly, without it feeling performative, and was just genuinely a highlight of my day. I made sure to compliment him on his energy and aura and tell him directly how much I appreciated him, but I also asked for his name so I could give him the public praise he deserves. It's tough enough being positive these days, let alone when your efforts go unnoticed or unappreciated. So thank you Jordan for your lovely energy! And for making a regular stop for me (since I do love my TB) just a little more whimsical and fun tonight. š«¶š¼
Also, my food looks perfect. As a picky vegetarian, I use the mobile app to customize my orders to the heavens, and always check my food before driving home to ensure there's no surprise meat in any of my items, and every item is exactly as I ordered. š

Poorly prepared box, the temperature of the food items was off and the tastes were not appetizing. I waited nearly 30 minutes past my order time on the app for my box.

I normally donāt leave reviews like this, especially after a long day when the last thing I want to do is complain, but the service tonight around 7:30 PM was ridiculous.
I went through the drive-thru, placed my order, and everything was fine until I got to the window. The employee helping me seemed like she had absolutely no interest in providing even basic customer service. She opened the window, basically said āhereās your drink,ā handed me the terminal to tap my card, and closed the window. No greeting, no āhow are you,ā no āthank you,ā nothing.
She came back, handed me my food, and immediately closed the window again before I even had a chance to check the bag. There was no hot sauce, so I waited at the window for about three minutes hoping she would come back. Nobody did. I wasnāt going to drive all the way around again just to ask for sauce, so I literally had to CALL THE TACO BELL while I was still sitting at the drive-thru window and ask if someone could please give me some hot sauce.
When she finally came back, I asked for two or three sauces and she handed me an entire handful. She also appeared to have her own personal earbuds in while working the drive-thru and was wearing cleaning gloves.
Iām not expecting fine-dining service at Taco Bell. Iām expecting basic hospitality, courtesy, and attentiveness. A simple āHi, how are you?ā āHereās your drink,ā āWould you like any sauce?ā and āHave a good nightā takes seconds.
This employee seriously needs to be retrained on basic customer service and drive-thru hospitality. Having to call Taco Bell from the drive-thru window just to get someoneās attention for a couple packets of hot sauce is ridiculous.

One of the best Taco Bell's I've been to! They are always so extremely friendly and fast with their service. The numerous of times I've been there they only got one thing incorrect on my order but they made it right once I brought it to their attention.
