I ordered a kaju paneer biryani from Spicy Hut and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes, but I ended up waiting for almost an hour. Even after that, they said it was “freshly cooking” and needed 5 more minutes. When I finally got the food, the taste was nothing special. I was disappointed, especially after reading all the reviews on their feedback wall and expecting something good. The biryani didn’t match the hype at all.

I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you only care about spicy food. There’s too much hype, but it was a waste of money for me. The biryanis and veg fried rice were especially disappointing—they tasted very dry and lacked flavor. Definitely not worth the hype.

Very old meat & unreasonably spicy. AVOID! I got 3 biryanis for $30 today and each one was somehow spicier than the last. Plus the meat seemed days old or reused somehow. Definitely not fresh at all. The ads that I’d seen for this indicated that there would be tea with every order but that appeared to be completely false. While the interior is cute, I really wish the food had been up to the mark or even remotely edible. It was not. I’m feeling rather cheated, to be honest.
