- SNsylvia Navarrette4 days ago1.0I shop at this Safeway every week, and unfortunately the pricing issues have become a recurring problem. Many of the shelf tags and sale signs are outdated and don't match the current prices at checkout. For example, yesterday I picked up a container of sour cream because the shelf tag clearly advertised it for $3.49 with a Safeway card. When I got to the register, I was told that sale had already ended and the shelf tag hadn't been updated. I had to stop the transaction, wait for assistance, walk back to the dairy section to return the item, and then find the correct product that was actually on sale. This isn't a one-time occurrence it's something I run into almost every week at this location. It makes grocery shopping frustrating and slows down the checkout process for everyone involved. I don't blame the cashiers, but the pricing on the shelves needs to be kept current. If that's difficult to manage, perhaps digital shelf labels should be considered. I enjoy shopping at Safeway, but accurate pricing is a basic expectation. I hope management addresses this ongoing issue because it has become a consistent source of frustration.

A wonderful veal marsala for those who enjoyed it and my little establishment. Thank you Safeway. It was a reasonable price and they had the marsala wine to go with it. Wide selection of ingredients fresh and the people there were absolutely spot on

Going to stop coming to Safeway if every single time i’m there i have to check out and bag a whole cart of groceries. Respectfully, I just got off work myself and I’m not going to Safeway to do your job and bag my own groceries.
