I didn’t get her name but one worker gave me wrong directions (I’m assuming because she was too lazy to help and wanted to get rid of me) and then was super rude when the discounts marked on the tags weren’t showing up on the computer

The "Life-Hack" Specialist
I’m loving the recent layout changes at this Safeway; the flow makes so much more sense now! The shelves are consistently stocked with sale items, so I rarely run into an "out of stock" disappointment.
Pro-Tips for shoppers:
The Checkout Hack: If the front lines or self-checkouts are packed, head to the liquor department. They have their own register, and as long as you’re buying your spirits there, they’ll usually let you ring up the rest of your cart. It’s a total time-saver!
The Early Bird Meat Deal: If you go earlier in the day, the meat department frequently has great discounts on high-quality cuts.
The only downside is the hot food counter; it can be a bit of a gamble on both service and quality. But for everything else? This is my go-to spot.

Do not do a grocery pickup at this Safeway. This is my first time doing a pickup at Safeway. I normally go to Fry’s and I have to say this is not a good first impression. When I arrive for Pickup, I only had seven items. there were two items missing yet I was still charged. The gentleman that brought my groceries out was a little weird and I asked specifically are there any items that are missing and he says I don’t know, it looks like everything here. when I get home, items are missing and I have to drive back to the store to get the items myself even tho I specifically did not want to go in the store that’s why I did a pick up: it’s a huge inconvenience for me to go to the store drive back home and then drive back to the store immediately. When I get to the store, I look for the two items that were missing and they were in fact in stock. So why didn’t I receive those two items? I wasn’t notified that they were out of stock. I wasn’t notified to do a replacement. I wasn’t notified at all that two items would be missing. The store had them in stock, so why didn’t I receive them? They still charged me for items I did not receive. I only had seven items and I only received five. I don’t see what is so hard about shopping my order of 7 items. Looks like I’m gonna be sticking to fry’s pickup because I don’t have this issue with them. Huge inconvenience, lack of communication, lack of care, charging me for items I didn’t receive.
