While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Tempe, AZ, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

- TRTANIA REIDSep 13, 20262.0Dirty, very dirty. Manager is bi lingual but chooses Spanish to communicate with as a first try. The bathroom was really awful. The food was good as it usually is at all locations so I still go there I just carry wet wipes. Meh

- GGGabe GAug 23, 20261.0Your location smells like straight up shit as sokn as you walk in , it hits your nose hard !! I can still taste it in my mouth, & the sad part is , I work literally next door and yall cant say its the grease trap becout store dont smell like a portable potty What you guys serving chicken ass ? - ATAaron TysonAug 11, 20261.0I ordered an Original Polo bowl and an extra side of chicken. The chicken was dry and hard. The worst chicken I've ever had in my life. There's a reason why Chipotle is far more successful than this place. I will never eat here again. The service was good, the restaurant was newly built and clean. But the food is a joke here. Chicken so dry and hard you could break a tooth.
