The bouncers are thieves and instigators.
They stole my pocket knife and tried to initiate a fight between my group of friends and another few guys who were blatantly over served. A shame, cool venue, but absolutely trash employees. Will not return.

We were excited to try Idle Hands because we were looking for a speakeasy-style atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
The space was much smaller than expected, and there was a strong urine smell that made our visit uncomfortable and ruined the atmosphere. We ordered drinks, including the #10 cocktail with egg white, and also tried the poutine. Unfortunately, we had to send the poutine back because the oil used to fry the potatoes tasted old and had an unpleasant smell. They brought out a replacement, but it had the same issue.
My husband ate a few bites, and unfortunately, he ended up feeling sick for the rest of the night and the following day with stomach issues.
Based on our experience with the food quality, smell, and overall atmosphere, I would not recommend this place. Hopefully, they can address these issues.

Went over to the Devil's hideaway with some friends last week and it felt like a great, chill place to spend an evening. The cocktails were amazing and the food was just as good. The staff was very attentive and checked on us throughout the night. Great vibes, we'll be coming to hang out soon again.

Bartenders cant make a good drink if their job depended on it, security is always feeling up women walking in and being creepy about it, the whole place is filthy and smells like actual garbage. I wouldn't get food here if I were you, in fact this is the worst bar on Mill Ave. Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere you'll have a better time anywhere else.

Went into the bar for my friend's birthday party and was having a fun time at the bar in the front. Found out there was a bar in the back and all 8 of us decided to go back there. Initally were greeted by "This isn't a library so you need to buy two drinks if you want to stay" by a shorter guy bartender. Weird, but we continued on and buy some drinks and cheers for the birthday and some drink gets on my best friend's dress on accident. I say sorry to her at the moment but didn't think much since we're all just having fun.
Bartender waits a minute and then demands that I say sorry to my friend for spilling some drink on her or he's kicking me out, in front of the whole bar. I say
"She's my best friend and it was an accident, what are you talking about?" I thought he was joking but he goes "Say sorry or I"II call security". He gets security as he was completely serious and escorts me out and all of us walk out. A complete joke of a bartender and I will not be back if this guy is working.
