The Barro’s Pizza recipe comes from Grandma Angelina Barro who came from Italy in the 1930’s, providing a pizza unlike any other. People may disagree on whether it's the thick crust with its light, flakey texture, which almost melts in your mouth, or the wonderful spiced sauce that is the secret of this great tasting pizza. Barro’s Pizza also provides wings, salads, sandwiches, pastas, gluten-free pizza options, dessert, beer and wine.
I've been to this location 3 times now since I've had to return to the office. I got used to going to the location near my home a couple times a month for their lunch specials.
This particular location on Kyrene and Warner customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. All 3 times the register staff make you feel like you are inconvenienceing them that you are there. Asking for anything like napkins and a fork are like pulling teeth. "I'll bring it to your table when I bring your pizza"... then nope they did not and I had to ask again with an eye roll from hell and a huff.
They hoard the parmesan cheese shakers behind the counter and the eye roll you get when you ask for one is worse than the one I get from my teenaged daughter. Don't even mention asking for Ranch along with the wings I ordered... "oh that will be an additional $0.75"... then when you get it its half full. Reduculous to say the least!

Don’t bother going here for slices unless you want to wait 25 minutes or are just willing to take what they have cold. They never have anything available but will quote you 7-10 minutes for a slice and then just stand around; 20 minutes after which the cashier will say that they don’t work the kitchen. Horrible customer service with too much pizza game in town to waste time

I love this place! The food is always delicious and consistent. The workers are always very friendly and polite.I always get the chicken wings and pizza. Sometimes I will order a sandwich. The meatball sub is awesome. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
