Subject: Customer Service Complaint – Wingstop Surprise, Arizona
Dear Wingstop Guest Relations,
I am writing to report a disappointing experience I had at your Wingstop location in Surprise, Arizona, at approximately 11:20 a.m. on my recent visit.
I have been ordering the 5-piece wing option from multiple Wingstop locations for quite some time without any issues. During this visit, however, the employee refused to sell it to me. She told me that the 5-piece was only meant as an add-on to another meal and that it never should have been sold to me by other locations.
What bothered me most wasn’t just the refusal—it was the way I was treated. Instead of trying to help or politely explain the policy, she repeatedly attempted to upsell me to a larger order and dismissed my questions. Her overall attitude made me feel like my business didn’t matter. I wouldn’t necessarily describe her as openly rude, but her demeanor was very dismissive and unwelcoming.
When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it. She mentioned that she had worked for Wingstop for about 10 years, and I believe she may have been the only employee in the store at the time, possibly even the manager. She was a short Hispanic woman who wore glasses, and I hope those details help identify who I interacted with.
I’m not asking for anyone to be unfairly disciplined, but I do believe this situation deserves to be reviewed. If the policy has changed, that’s understandable—but customers should be treated with respect and given a clear, courteous explanation. My experience left me feeling disappointed enough that I walked away without placing an order.
I have always enjoyed Wingstop and have never experienced this kind of treatment at any other location. I hope you’ll look into this matter and ensure that customers receive respectful, professional service.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
