  I love portillo's but for some reason this location manages to get my online order wrong every time. This last time I ordered a combo (sausage and beef) with peppers and cheese, comes out to $16, pick it up take it home take a bite and it's just beef no sausage. The receipt clearly shows the large combo and it's on the sticker on the outside the bag. Before that they've left off cheese and then left off peppers which those aren't that bad but leaving off half of the sandwich and forgetting the sausage that stinks.

  Ordered 2 Big Italian Beef sandwiches. These were at best regular size. Barely had any mozzarella cheese on them. The side gravies were completely watered down. This was my first and last time spending my money here. I’ve always enjoyed every other Portillo’s I’ve been to but this one was god awful. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

  I'm sorry I forgot her name but the Manager at the Surprise location on Waddell on 5/1/26 at 7pm is awesome! She remembered us as patrons and thanked us and helps us whenever we need assistance. The food here is ALWAYS clean, and quality!

  Second time going and was just okay. First time around seemed to be a bit better several months ago. Meat, was dry, but still moderately flavorful. Sausage was good as was the bread. Wife didnt seem too impressed either. Maybe it was an off day. No big deal.

  Let me begin by telling you that Portillo’s his Portillo’s. I don’t think we need to explain the food. I don’t think we need to explain how clean and how professional the environment is. Food is always decent. Just exactly what you would expect. However, I’m leaving this review for one specific person. Her name is Allie and she is by far the sweetest nicest kindest person I’ve ever met. She is on my dream team and what I mean by dream team is when I open my own business I’m coming to steal her from Portillo’s and paying her double to work for me, she is literally that nice of a person she will brighten up your day with that wonderful smile and she’s always on point always accurate, always kind and always professional. How do you get to be this way? I don’t understand? Just such a joy to be around no joke! Anyways, thank you to the Portillo’s team for always being there never skimping on ingredients and quality and definitely service
