  First time eating here and my last time. Fries were like cardboard, croissant was soggy, beef was flavorless, Dr Pepper shake was a disappointment, even my husband who loves burgers could not finish his, the only good thing was the onion rings. It was a waste of money in my opinion.

  It’s counter service so not much to rate there. Portillo’s is a staple from home city Chicago. There are better beef and hot dog places in Chicago but Portillo’s is the go to. The food at the location in Surprise is exactly as the ones in Chicago in quality and taste. Same food 1,200 miles apart.

  The food is consistently great. Cleanliness of the customer area needs attention. It’s tidy, but the windows, doors, and floors are dirty and detract from how much we want to enjoy the experience.

  Delicious burgers, friendly helpful service, onion rings, fries, chili dogs,its always good and never disappointed. Atmosphere always clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. Gotta try the chocolate and lemon cake.

  My wife already posted her review, but I feel strongly that this needs to be known. We got food from this location the other night and we regret it. I got a cup of chili that was half empty (I've gotten this before and it's never been only half the cup), the cheese on her chili cheese dog wasn't melted at all it just looked like a clump of fake cheese, and the thing that made us really regret going there was the ice tea... While drinking it I sucked up someone's finger nail... A chewed off piece of finger nail in my drink that ended up in my mouth. I completely lost my appetite and I just simply can't believe the lack of sanitation this location has to result in this event.
