  Don’t miss this place. The absolute cutest gas station/car wash/eatery I’ve ever been to. The only one I’ve ever been to but it’s too darn cute! We are from Portland, Oregon and found this looking for DDD places in Scottsdale. So happy we came across this place. We ordered two different brisket dishes. Absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of smoky flavor. The house made BBQ sauce is to die for. I don’t like BBQ sauce because it’s usually too sweet. This is tangy and perfect. Trying to figure out a place in the schedule when I can get back there to try and buy some to take home. The staff is super friendly as well. If you’re going, give yourself extra time to just look around the gift store. From the decor to the goods there’s so much to see.

  Mid. It was okay. Pretty small portions, pretty expensive. Took a pretty long time to get our food. Food was fine, nothing to write home about. Mac and cheese and coleslaw were really good though!

  This has to be one of the few places where you can pump race gas and head inside to get a pretty decent pulled pork sandwich. In addition to their sandwich, I've also had their banana pudding which is also pretty good considering you're at a gas station. The overall vibe of the place is great, and they have a solid energy drink selection in addition to the available barbecue food. It's definitely one of the most unique gas stations I've been to, and is definitely a gem of North Scottsdale.

  Amazon should watch out for their title of “the everything store”… this gas station bbq gift shop craft local beer spot is a close runner up. This place has some GREAT meat. actually so good. Their fries are close to perfect. Their onion rings are amazing perfect perfect. The young guy with the tattoos and little mustache (sorry didn’t get his name) is actually so good at this job. Literally the most competent person I’ve ever met. It’s not the fastest space - took ~15 mins for our takeout order. They run out of desserts and beans early (around 4pm apparently). Great spot for a to go or eat in dinner. Great spot of local gifts / souvenirs.

  Instead of a Thumbs up they get the middle finger lol. After researching restaurants to hit up in Scottsdale on our visit Thumbs was in the top 5. We couldn’t wait to go and eat some good BBQ however when we arrived around 5:00 for dinner they informed us that they had run out of their top 3 meat choices that most people dine there for. I have NEVER been to a BBQ restaurant that runs out of meat long before the dinner hour. As a matter of fact they said they ran out after lunch. WTH!??? We left sad and hungry 👎🏽
