  Simply amazing. Gill runs an amazing place. He checks in with each table himself, getting to know each patron, offering suggestions, and engaging throughout the dining experience. The coconut mojito was excellent, quite dangerous, and the ginger pear mocktail was a tasteful addition. For food, we ordered garlic naan, rice, chicken vindaloo, and mattar paneer. The garlic naan was amazing, warm, soft, and a great pairing. The chicken vindaloo (that I consider myself a connoisseur of) was likely the best I’ve tasted. The masala was a perfect spice level, and I do enjoy spice, to eat the entire serving with a side of rice. The chicken was soft, and the potatoes perfectly cooked. The mattar paneer was creamy with a perfect masala flavor. If you’re looking for an authentic, fun, friendly, and all around wonderful date night, dinner with friends, or family, Taj Mahal is perfect.   We were looking for good, quality, authentic Indian food. Taj Mahal came up on a search and we were right down the street. We were greeted right at the door by Freddy with warmth and hospitality. He was also our server and not only was he funny and fun but very prompt and attentive. The food was amazing. Freddy also guided us away from certain selections on the menu because they weren’t his favorite and towards better selections that turned out to be outstanding. Thanks Freddy!

  Very nice Indian food with good atmosphere and great personalized service. Happy hour was reasonable for drinks. Had lamb vindaloo, chicken masala and aloo gobi for dinner with garlic naan. Good selection of Indian beers and French and California wine. Would definitely go again.

  We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The staff provided great service, and the overall atmosphere was warm and enjoyable. You can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of their food. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing Indian food and genuine hospitality!

  Mid Indian food. All the staff aren’t even Indian, same with the cooks. If you’re wanting real authentic Indian food, do not go here. The chicken tandoori wings were dry, same with the chicken in the butter chicken curry, the chicken was hard. The taj naan was very dry and too thick as well. All in all, we were very disappointed for our Mother’s Day dinner. Thumbs down, chi chi to the owner.
