This technique (called "smashing") caramelizes the edges to create a signature crispy crust that seals in the juices. They are famous for their SmashFries, tossed in rosemary, garlic, and olive oil. They feature a $4.99 value menu with select Smashburgers, chicken sandwiches, and hot dogs. I ordered the Deluxe Smash and tater tots. The burger was juicy with crispy edges, grilled onions, and cheese—a nice burger for $4.99. So if you are near one, I recommend you stop and get your smash on!
