We were at the self-check and needed some assistance because items were ringing up at the wrong amount. I asked for assistance and two nice young men came while I went to take a photo of the advertised price on the item. But when I got back they had rung everything up and all I needed to do was just insert my cc. When I got home, I realized that more than a few items hadn't been scanned at all, and I called the store to make it right somehow. The manager, Chris, told me that it was OK and to just continue being a Safeway customer. We will certainly do that -- they took a loss on this one, but we'll be back each week. You went beyond the norm -- Thanks Chris!

Great sales, plenty of staff to help during this Holiday weekend. The app is my only complaint. Slow app and the digital coupon functionality is quirky. Takes several times to get it to work, almost to the point of giving up. I feel for customers that might want to use the digital coupon but don't have the wherewithal to deal with app issues, especially the aging population who might benefit the most being on a fixed income.
