  A little slice of the “ NY Italian style” in the heart of Scottsdale! Enjoyed a turkey sandwich on a Kaiser roll that reminded me of the ones I love and miss from NY deli. Skip the local chain sandwich shops for this gem. I will return to try the hot food Italian specialities!

  I grew up in Yonkers during the '60s and '70s. It is the only place in the world that calls a 'sub' a wedge. I hope to meet John from Yonkers.

  I wondered why when I walked in at 3:30PM on a Monday it was literally dead in there. No one. Well, got my answer. Those two female employees were the rudest, laziest employees I’ve dealt with in a long time. My opening the door simply p!sed them both off as I interrupted their chit chatting. They treated me like I was a total inconvenience. My apologies you accepted this job, ladies…. For $20 for a very mediocre chicken parm… never going back. No way. Those two women honest to god need to be let go. Rinaldi’s should be ashamed.

  Seems hard to believe that it costs an extra 2.50 for just two slices of rye bread instead of a standard roll or $1.99 for giardiniera or a few olives? Onions aren’t even included on an Italian sub and cost a dollar?

  Stopped into Rinaldi's Italian Deli with my buddy Marc Beilin a true Jersey guy who knows his way around a real-deal New York Style - from the boot - deli to celebrate acquiring two new OTA stations. Safe to say, this place is absolute gold standard. I went with the mortadella sandwich, and Marc locked in the eggplant parm sandwich. Let me tell you: these sandwiches don't play around. The bread is legendary, perfectly crispy crust with that soft, fresh center, and both were stacked so high they were practically overflowing off the paper. Marc gave the eggplant parm his official stamp of approval, which in Jersey terms means it’s as close to Sunday dinner at Nonna’s house as you can get. If you’re looking for a genuine, family-owned Italian deli, phenomenal imported meats and cheeses, and stacked Italian subs, Rinaldi's Italian Deli is the real deal. 5 stars all day long.
