- BHBonnie HuiMay 12, 20265.0The food at Nobu is excellent, especially the scallop sashimi and yellowtail with mushroom and truffle. The restaurant is an airy open space, and comfortable to sit in. Service is pleasant, attentive but enough space to have uninterrupted conversations.

- MMMMay 4, 20264.0I judge a sushi place by one thing: ikura. Too bad they don’t do specials or combo rolls because they could move the ikura faster and keep it fresh. Black cod was delicious as was seaweed salad, chefs were great… but a larger menu and fresher ikura would move it to 5 stars. Also, service could relax a bit. Like i dont need 5 people changing my plates or topping my water glads every 2 minutes… it gets overwhelming and kills the vibe.

There is is another thing I need to mention. Currently, tip culture in the US is out of control. A lot of restaurant set tips like 22%, 25%, 28% and 30%. This kind of setting is really upset me because this means the restaurant tries to milk customers. However, I found Nobu's setting was 18%, 20%, and 22%. Although it was still high, this setting is relatively reasonable. It indicates this restaurant still consider the customer's feeling. This is another reason I recommend this place.
