  Let’s start with we go to Mastro’s all over the world, it was our favorite restaurant till this horrible interaction at this location, server was great, but otherwise the food itself was terrible we order medium, they bring us hockey pucks, then they bring us new ones and they are medium rare and we have to use the plate to cook them? When did I sign up for a hot stone restaurant? Absolute joke to the mastros business this location I 100% do not recommend if you want to keep your love for mastros, they also did absolutely nothing as we proceeded to eat none of our food, put it in a to go box, and tossed it. Once again do not recommend, the server was the only good part, manager and “fix” was an absolute joke, next time remember to atleast season the steak a little bit .. if your gonna overcook and undercook our food

  We had reservations at another restaurant for Mother’s Day brunch, but after running into an extremely long wait, we made a last-minute decision to try Mastro's City Hall and we are so glad we did! From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. We sat in the bar area with live music, which created the perfect atmosphere for Mother’s Day. The brunch was absolutely incredible New York strip, lobster, shrimp, made-to-order omelets, amazing desserts, and so many fresh, delicious options. Rudy and Alana took exceptional care of us and truly made the experience special. Compliments to the chef as well everything was prepared perfectly. This ended up being one of the best Mother’s Day brunches we’ve ever had, and we will definitely be making this our new Mother’s Day tradition every year!

  Mastro's City Hall is not just a place to dine, it is an elevated experience. Reservations were easy to make and when I added a comment that we were celebrating two birthdays, they actually paid attention. Upon arrival, the staff was friendly and well organized. The waiter and his team were phenomenal. They were attentive at just the right times. The food, well it's amazing. Most of us ordered the filet mignon and it is served sizzling with butter. Delish! We ordered the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes which were also great. My brother-in-law got the lobster bisque and a salad and enjoyed both of those as well. Then, they brought us TWO butter cakes. Let me just say, these are well worth the calories. As we dined, a manager came and asked how things were going which was a nice touch. What really impressed me the most was after we left. I received two phone calls thanking me for dining with them. I truly cannot say enough good things about City Hall which is why we are repeat customers and will absolutely be back.

  Very disappointed with our visit on 5/1/2026 Called in advance for some special request and was told they could fulfill our request. NONE of the request were met. There was no type of welcoming when getting to the restaurant. (the service in their bathrooms has better service than thrit hosts)They just stand at the host table like you are someone walking into a taco bell on a Tuesday night at midnight.. For a steak house you would think they would be more welcoming and happy to see you. It was very hot and started to sweat during dinner. We had asked them if they could turn the air down and we were told they have the back patio doors open so that why its hot and cant do anything about it.. the food was very bland with no flavor.. steaks just tasted like an un seasoned steak. The brussel sprouts had no flavor, the potatoes were nothing special. Tried to end it well with at least getting dessert and trying their famous butter cake only to find that it was very dry.... Very disappointed and pretty upset about it. Have had way better food at other high end steak houses. I will saw their pretzel bread and breads were good but that's about it. Would recommend not wasting your time.

  Went for dinner with a large group, while the service was decent for the most part the food was subpar and presentation as well. I ordered a NY Strip medium which came out medium rare, almost rare. I asked for the steak to be cooked a bit more, normally no big deal. However, the plate they brought the steak back on was the temperature of a frying pan it’s like they put the whole plate in the fire. I was able to cut the steak and continue searing it on the dangerously hot plate. Putting a plate that temperature on a table is totally unacceptable, someone could have gotten seriously burned. I’ve never had something like that happen at any other steakhouse I’ve been to, especially something considered this high end.
