I was told the store had enough cash to make change, but they would not accept the bill because the change might be needed later for the night employees. I understand businesses need to manage their cash drawers, but it was frustrating to be refused payment with legal currency for a relatively small order when the store had the ability to make change. If there are restrictions on accepting larger bills, customers should be informed before placing their orders. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed with the customer service.
