  On August 20, 2026 at 6 PM, my daughter visited the Chipotle at Camelback and Scottsdale Rd and tried to order a regular-size quesadilla. The employee told her that because there was a line, he could only make a kids-size quesadilla ( she’s a high schooler not a kid)and refused to make the regular sized one. That response makes absolutely no sense. If the restaurant is too busy to make a regular quesadilla, what happens if everyone in line wants a regular quesadilla? Is the employee going to tell every customer they can only have a kids-size one? That is not a reasonable way to run a restaurant, or business. If there is an actual Chipotle policy that regular quesadillas must be ordered through the app, that is fine—just communicate that clearly to the customer. But telling someone they cannot order what they want because there is a line is completely different and comes across as poor customer service. It is like going to a sit-down restaurant, ordering an entrée, and being told, “We’re too busy, so I can only give you the kids portion, or you can’t order what you want “ That would never be acceptable, and it should not be acceptable here either. Chipotle needs to take a closer look at its hiring and customer service standards. Employees who are unwilling or unable to provide basic service should not be representing the company. Being busy is part of working in fast food, and customers should not be made to feel like they are inconveniencing staff simply for ordering from the menu. Very disappointing experience, and I hope management addresses this location.

  DISGUSTING BUSINESS PRACTICES. I eat a side of chicken and a side of rice probably 3 times a week. They always put it in the side cups. I stopped at this chipotle today, Aug 18th at around 12:35PM - they automatically grabbed a bowl and put the two sides I asked for in a bowl. I was then charged almost $4 extra than i normally get charged at any other chipotle. When i pointed this out, the guy with blue hair checking me out stated that it’s because it’s in a bowl, and then confirmed that if they were in side dishes it would have been charged normally…that’s a disgusting up charge that i never requested. management at this location should be ashamed of themselves.

  Trust the reviews. Saddest, tiniest, smallest portioned bowl I have ever received. Most of the bowl was rice. I think there were maybe 8 black beans, and more ingredients missing than included. No pinto beans, no corn salsa, no fajita veggies, no tomatillo, and two pieces of pico. If I wasn’t so tired from flying in from across the country I’d go back and ask for the second half of my bowl. Terrible.

  Preston made my experience so much better! This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I really appreciate the great service he provided. He was very friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to going the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience. Thank you, Preston for the food I really appreciate it you make my day!

  I visit this location pretty often because I live a few blocks away. I went today and for the third time they didn’t have steak, so I (in a respectful way) asked the lady that was making my bowl if there was a reason why the last 3 times I came they didn’t have any steak and she turned and very rudely said: “I don’t get why are you giving me an attitude right now”, I immediately asked to speak to a manager and she didn’t seem to care that much. I ended up not getting my bowl and left the location. In my entire life, I’ve never had any company representative speak to me in that disgustingly rude way but after talking to the manager it was easy to know the reason why she felt entitled to do something like that. I imagine the lack of management is the same reason why they never have steak. The employee that spoke to me like that was the lady with colorful hair, white makeup and thin eyebrows (easy to recognize). Never coming to this location again. I wish I had read the reviews before, as there are numerous negative ones.
