  I’m upset at the experience I just had at cava. I’m pregnant so I’m extra hungry and sensitive to food service, however I was in line and the girl who was making my bowl purposely left the bowl to wait for a fresh batch of chicken because she saw it was just burnt little crumbs of chicken in the bottom of the harissa chicken bowl. The girl chopping the chicken said it would be a few minutes, so I’m waiting in the line for the fresh Chicken 5 to 10 minutes Go by and another employee comes out of nowhere, he scooped the little remnants in a hurry, even though I said we’re waiting for fresh chicken and boxed up my bowl. So I had to wait for no reason, and still got old chicken remnants. Super frustrating and overall I don’t think they give you enough sauce to go with your bowl or your pita bread that you buy, which is extra.

  I have kind of mixed feelings about CAVA. The food is honestly great it’s fresh, flavorful, and definitely something I’d recommend if you’re just going off quality. But the service has been consistently disappointing. Most of the workers come off as rude and uninterested, and it feels like they just ignore you while you’re ordering. One time I clearly asked for no tomatoes because I’m extremely allergic, and right after that they still added them. They did remake my bowl and gave it to me for free, which I appreciated, and that employee was actually really nice but he’s been the only positive experience I’ve had with the staff. Overall, I’d still recommend going for the food because it’s really good, just be prepared for the service to not match it.
