Caveat - I only visited the bar: The atmosphere was great, clean, pleasant smell, great decor, and nearly perfect lighting. Staff was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. Drinks were made to perfection and the few bites we had were great. That room is one of my favorites in Scottsdale and I think I’m going to frequent every time I’m in the area.

The New York strip, medium rare, was cooked well but a little tough. The crust on it was phenomenal though.
Spicy Gigli pasta was great and a good value for the price
The tuna pizza (not an actual pizza, but tuna tartare on a thin crisp was very good.
The service was good, friendly and the food came out quick even though they seemed fairly busy.

Came here on Father's Day to actually have an early birthday dinner with 2 of my best friends! We loved Catch from beginning to end. To start, our server Judith was wonderful. She was very personable, encouraged recommendations, & provided exceptional service without being overbearing like you can often find at higher end restaurants. We ordered many items to share- Oysters, Miso Sea Bass, Wagyu Gyoza, the Hellfire roll, the Father's day special Ribeye with this decadent brown butter sauce, the Ricotta donuts, & the specialty Strawberry Cheesecake Shaved Ice. The standouts for us were the Gyoza, the Sea Bass, & the Strawberry Cheesecake Shaved Ice dessert. For drinks, our table had the Lychee Saketini & the Catch Filthy Martini. The Lychee Saketini was smooth & enjoyable without being overly sweet. We truly felt the overall experience was great & would return again in a heartbeat.

This is one of the best dinners I’ve had a long time. The atmosphere itself is very classy, lots of dark wood with some 1920s/1930s aesthetics. Our server was Judy who was phenomenal. She was very clear and attentive and offered great recommendations. The food itself is five stars. The restaurant gifted us a plate of crispy shrimp; I’m not usually a fan of shrimp or spicy things, but this shrimp was like nothing I’ve ever had and the spice level was very mild. I highly recommend the Nigiri flight as it saves a bit of money. The truffle spaghetti was delicious and even better later that night as a midnight snack. The cocktails are unmatched, I recommend the Pornstar Martini which has passion fruit and is delish.

I am not one to write negative reviews nor am I looking to receive anything for posting this. I hope the management take it in and use it to help future guests. My wife and I had a 5:30 reservation here. We were sat and greeted by the bus boy who served us the house water. Roughly 20 minutes go by and our server comes over and takes a drink order. Another 20 minutes go by and a couple is seated next to us and the server (same as ours) takes their full order. We finally get our drinks and noticing that the couple next to us already got their drinks and an appetizer I asked the server to take our food order. Nothing big - two surf and turf rolls, two nigiri, three baked crab rolls and the spicy pasta. He takes our order. Remember we arrived at 5:30 and it’s been nearly an hour in. We drink our cocktails and and the first dishes arrive. My wife’s pasta dish and 2 Hell fire rolls. Confused I tell the server we didn’t order those. He rushes them away. Another 25 minutes go bye and they bring me the two surf and turf rolls. Now anyone who knows food will immediately notice they don’t use lobster in these. It tastes like prawn or langostino. My tuna nigiri and baked crab arrives 10-25 minutes after that. Ok fine. I bite into the baked crab roll and there is this subtle ammonia like smell and taste to it. Having been there at this point an hour and half I was hungry and my fault for not sending it back (I’d later regret this). We finished our meal and waited another 20 minutes (not exaggerating here) and our server asks if we want dessert. Sure why not. We order the doughnut item. I kid you not 37 minutes and nothing. Our drinks are done our water is out we are just waiting again… we finally get up and walk to front asking to cancel the dessert and pay our check. The entire experience was 3 hours - they have cameras and can verify it - we have our check with the timestamp. So to have 2 drinks, 5 sushi rolls and a pasta = 3 hours! This is not a Michelin restaurant. We also watched as the couple next to us who arrived 20 minutes after us get served and leave in half that time. There was a man who offered to comp us dessert next time and they removed the charge for dessert from our check. Cool. I woke up around midnight with stomach issues and food poisoning - up all night. No joke. Suffice to say we won’t be going back.
