What an experience from the appetizers to the desert. Our waitress, Sidney was great and she explained everything well. She knew that menu. I ordered The Famous Ribeye and it did not disappoint. It was the best thing I’ve eaten while visiting Arizona and the Guava Breeze was delicious. They have only been open for about a month, I will definitely visit again.
The chef bought out small cups of hot fish broth as soon as we were seated. Sparkling water was next with wedges of lemon and lime to choose from. The fish broth was surprisingly delicious, very flavorful with just a touch of heat. Unami comes to mind, but with fish. My wife had to ask, yes it's available off menu to take home.
We started with drinks and fresh Blue Point oysters. They're available in the half shell or pff menu as Oysters Rockefeller. We went for half shell. Very fresh. Served on ice of course with fresh lime and an interesting spicy sauce. I thought we had ordered 1/2 dozen. I was going to complain when a dozen came but by then my wife had one and signaled for me to try one first. We kept the full dozen and enjoyed each one of them.
The dinner menu offered pastas, a variety of fresh fish and grilled meats. Heavily influenced by the taste of the fish broth we went with the pozole and tortilla soups both based on their fish broth. Assuming soups would be smaller we added sides of caeser salad and bacon wrapped shrimp tacos. Mistake. Not because the sides weren't uniquely delicious but because the soups were entree sized! I'd highly recommend all of these dishes but not all four for 2 people!
It was out anniversary. The waitress had asked when we were seated. After our table was cleared she announced that for our anniversary they were treating us to a complimentary entree or a churro desert. My wife chose churros. They were fresh made with a tasty frozen yogurt. Yumm.
We'll be back. They have taco nights, happy hours (3-5pm), live music (Fri & Sat I believe), and thirsty Thursdays ($7 margaritas). All sound fun!

So My husband surprised me with this AMAZING restaurant. First of all the service was top notch, Alex made it a point to welcome us when let him know we traveled from AJ he hooked us up built great service. You can tell he cares about his customers. The food.. Lord the food was the best meal have had. Hands down. Everything was spot on. Thank you for great service everyone was great from the host, server, busser and owner. Risotto salty which is how it should be done, lobster perfectly cooked, steak perfect mid rare melted in your mouth no need for knife, fish broth surprisingly good, Oysters were impeccable! My favorite part was the Mexican candy shot, Newest obsession just kept ordering them dangerously good..
The food was just okay. The oysters were not shucked properly and had no natural liquid left in them. The ceviche was bland, and the fish tacos lacked flavor. The halibut was dry and chewy.
We also ordered a soda that was completely flat. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he brought us a can instead, but we were charged for two drinks.
The churro with ice cream was ok, but nothing memorable. It felt more like an attempt at a lava cake than a churro dessert.
Overall, I would not recommend this place. There are much better restaurants nearby that offer better food and service.
Overall the place is good, not outstanding, not bad either. We got crab cakes, carne asada tacos, and ceviche. We also got served a sampler of some sort of soup, we asked what it was and got a description of it but never the name of what it was. They had live music when we were there on the weekend with an artist that was very good.
The carne asada tacos were good. They had a lot of meat and some nicely pickled red onion. They also had a cheese crust to the tortilla that was a nice touch. I do think it would’ve been better with a salsa verde or other type of sauce on the side.
The crab cakes were good and came with a good amount of crab cakes for being labeled an appetizer. I typically prefer being able to see the crab in them. It looks like it’s just a lot of breading but it did taste like it had a lot of crab. The chipotle aioli was a nice addition to them.
I was not able to have the ceviche due to a food allergy but my partner said it was pretty good and pretty standard for the ceviche he’s had before.
I do have a food allergy and the wait staff did immediately ask if there were any allergies and took note of it which was nice. I did get served the soup sample even though I had an allergy to the ingredients, when our waiter saw she grabbed it before it was eaten. The service was good at recommending alternatives for me.
The service was overall very good, they were slow at some points but it is a new restaurant and it is to be expected so the new restaurants.
