This is a great spot to watch a game, and typically I’ve had better experiences here. However, our waitress ignored our table after saying we needed a few more minutes to look over the menu. This place seems poorly managed compared to our previous experiences — there are very few servers here. I needed 3 more minutes to look at the menu, and it ended up being more than 30 minutes since our table got attended to. I ended up having to go to the bar to get served.
Not a typical experience I’ve had here, but maybe this place is going downhill.

We stopped at Fat Frog in Prescott after my dad told me they had really good burgers, and I was excited to try something a little different. I went with the Peanut Butter Bacon Burger, and I’m glad I did—it was definitely good, although it is a **very heavy burger**.
I think there’s an opportunity to make it even better. The bacon jam had more of a savory flavor than I expected, and I didn’t get much sweetness from it. I’ve had a burger with bacon jam made with fresh raspberries, and the sweetness and slight tartness from the berries really complemented the savory burger. That got me thinking: why not lean into the peanut butter idea and add a little jelly or fruit jam? A true peanut butter-and-jelly bacon burger could be fantastic.
That said, the burger was still good. My dad had the mushroom burger, which he really enjoyed, and my buddy had the regular smash burger and thought it was great.
The onion rings were excellent. They had just the right amount of crunch in the batter without overwhelming the onion, and the tater tots were really good as well. As good as the onion rings are, when I go back I would pick the tots.
They also have a great selection of beer. I would love to see a little more variety on the dark-beer side. When we were there, the only dark option was a porter. If they ever do a rotating selection or sampler, adding a stout or, even better, a bourbon-barrel-aged beer would be a great addition.
But honestly, what really stood out was our server, **Tristyn**. She was awesome. She helped us make good choices on the burgers and spent time helping me pick out a beer. I ended up with a White Chocolate Ale of some sort, and it was surprisingly good.
What impressed me most was that Tristyn didn’t just take our order and disappear. She actually took the time to talk with us and even went to check in the back to see if they had any jam that could be added to my burger. She was incredibly sweet, personable, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience.
She also took the time to tell us about prickly pear and where we could find it in the shops downtown. Those little things make a difference. I appreciated the extra effort so much that I added a little extra to her tip.
Fat Frog has a lot going for it—good burgers, great onion rings and tots, plenty of beer choices, and lots of TVs for watching games and sports. Add a little more creativity to the burger toppings and a couple more dark-beer options, and this place could really be something special.
**We had a great experience and I would definitely go back. And if Tristyn is working, you’re in good hands.**

Was up in Prescott for the Highland Games and had a sports bar type hankering. This place cured that itch and then some! The amount of tvs showing MNF was INSANE! Drinks and food were top notch and our server Peyton went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Would highly recommend The Fat Frog if you’re in town!

I went to Fat frog the other day with my beautiful wife, and we sat at the bar. We had the best service we have ever acquired in our 20 years of bar attending. Lilly was the bar tender working that evening, and let me tell you she was absolutely amazing. My wife is really picky when it comes to her specialty drinks, and Lilly knocked every drink out of the park, not only was she beautiful, her attitude and attention to detail was top notch. We our definitely fat frogers for life now.

Brooke is consistently the most attentive, friendly, and personable waitress I’ve ever experienced. She brings a liveliness that is hard to find these days, making the experience personable every time. She ensures a friendly and light hearted atmosphere and her gleaming smile and contagious laugh keep myself and a slew of loyal regulars coming back again and again just for the warmth she brings with her every day.
