SO GOOD!! We stopped at Doc’s BBQ while visiting Prescott and this ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. Everything was absolutely delicious, the meats were tender, smoky and packed with flavor, and that mac & cheese was AMAZING. 🤤
We got a little bit of everything and genuinely couldn’t pick a favorite. The portions were generous, the food came out fresh, and we left completely stuffed and happy. 😂
If you’re in Prescott and love BBQ, do not skip this place. We would 100% come back!

Last night was my first time eating at Doc’s. I would have given them 5 stars but I can’t as this is a family restaurant. First a hostess should not wear “booty shorts” in a family environment. Those shorts were so tight that you could see a lot. As a family man it completely made me want to leave the restaurant immediately but we didn’t. And let’s not talk about the pile that was on the ground and side rails across from the bar that was getting cleaned up with kitty litter in a windy evening. We got seated wright in front of the hot plate it wasn’t bad but you definitely could feel the heat from the lamps. Overall the food was good. The portions were great. The price was what you would expect for two people. Overall pretty impressive but I think the owner or GM should definitely address the clothing concern for the hostesses.

Let me start by saying I should have listened to a lot of the reviews about the bbq being very dry. It was in fact very dry, the coleslaw had no taste and the two pieces of toast that they gave me was cold and hard. The two ribs that I had were somewhat edible after I put barbecue sauce on them, but the pork and the burnt ends were not edible. I did put bbq sauce on the pork and burnt ends but that did not help. I also did not care for the music they were playing, it was hard rock music and I don't care for that kind of music so for me the whole experience just wasn't good. So based on our experience we will not be going back.

This is our fourth time visiting Doc’s. The pit masters are skilled. This time we had the burnt ends, ribs, pulled pork bbq and the smoked chicken. It was the first time we had the smoked chicken-OMG! To describe it as tender seems insufficient-fell off the bone when I looked at it😃 the onion rings could be a meal themselves. Light, hot, crunchy and delicious!
We took the peach 🍑 cobbler home with us. The portion is enough for two and had two scoops of ice cream. We were waffling about it and a diner at the next table heard it and said it was worth every calorie!! It was. Sooo delicious 😋
Christina was our server and anticipated everything-drink refills, napkins, etc. Make sure you check out this restaurant if you are going to Prescott. Also the smoked turkey is amazing-worth it!

Very disapointing. We had dinner here this evening. We wanted to sit outside, but the flies were horrendous. I asked a waitress to clean the table hoping that would clear some of the flies, but she wouldn't do it. So we had to move inside. We ordered the brisket sandwich w/beans and the pulled pork sandwich w /french fries. Both sandwiches had cold bland meat. Both the sides were warm, not hot, but flavorful. Bottles of BBQ sauces on the table were disgusting, looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a month. Service was sub-par. She only took the order and presented the check, not caring to come back and see if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. If it wasn't for all the flies the atmosphere would have been acceptable. There are other BBQ places near here with better reviews, try them. On outward and initial appearance this looked to be a very nice restaurant with a very nice menu. Management just doesn't seem to care.
