- RLRhonda LeeJun 26, 20265.0Up until yesterday,s visit I would go anywhere other than Safeway. But yesterday managment proved that they are for the most part are for their customers. Your wondering what I am talking about right. Well being in the store in Lakeside and looking for extra Virgin olive oil but on sale if possible. I took it to the registar along with a couple other items it rang up as full price not the sale price. To make thus shorter I wanted a rain check when I had to check it 3 different times management decided to check what I was saying and she found it to be correct however someone had stocked all the smaller bottles into the spots of the large ones which made them out of what I was looking for. So in the end she took the bottle handed it to me and said, tell the cashier to ring it as a rain check and give it to her. Everyone was out of words except to repeat what she said to me earlier. So my forced trip to safeway ended much better than it started. Me leaving with a bottle of olive oil costing 14.99 on sale made me so happy and verified as an important part of the store like it used to be and like it should be since their customers are what keeps any store on its feet. Thanks Safeway for restoring my faith in you.
