Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I was really in the mood for Whataburger so I just drove across town to a second location on Bell road and tried to place another order. Unfortunately I had to argue with the girl about getting just hamburgers not cheeseburgers so I left.

I had to bring my order back and they where all laughing about it in the back like I couldn't hear them talking about it. the one worker laughed and said "this one actually came back" hahaha. yeah great bunch of people.

- NPNate PowellJul 24, 20261.0A meal that I purchased at this location came out wrong I ordered chicken I got two beef patties I returned the sandwich there was a price difference of $3 and some change I waited for the money it never came I asked for the money for the difference they said it was only $3 and some change difference and start it to wave me off. I said no I would like my money for the difference and or extra fries it turned into a soft argument over overpaid money that was owed to a customer Anne from the beginning getting my meal wrong I won't be coming back during this shift the 10:00 p.m. crew This location gave me the wrong meal I took it back got the correct meal but there was a price difference I asked for my money they refused to give me my money and said it was only a $3 and some change difference and proceeded to wave me on I told them no they're going to give me my $3 and some change or some french fries there was a soft argument over my money and or french fries money rightfully owed to me how is that possible I will not go back to this location during the time of 10:00 p.m.
