Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MJmatthew jdj4 days ago3.0It’s pretty good, but I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. First, all of their food is pretty pricey, you're looking at around $7 just for a single burger. Honestly, I don't go here that often because of the price, but if you're going to order, you're definitely better off getting a combo meal to get more value for your money. Second, I had a bad experience here once in the past. I ordered a Bacon & Cheese Whataburger meal, and while I normally love their fries, that specific time they were terrible and tasted heavily like old oil. Thankfully, that hasn't happened again since, and I hope it stays that way!

How is it that for nearly the same price I get a bag full of fries at five guys and Whataburger struggles just to fill the stupid container? What a ripoff!
